JOHN'S P.O.V
I'm currently at my best friend Dave's house. He asked me to come over to hang out and maybe sleep over. Dave's brother Dirk has a friend over too. Jake. Dirk and Jake have been friends for a really long time. They're really close. Like me and Dave. No homo though.
Dave and I have been playing video games for about an hour until we hear the door open. I look over to see his older brother Dirk standing in the doorway without a shirt. It felt like my heart skipped a beat- I'm still not a homosexual.
"Hey little dudes, want anything? Jake and I are heading out to taco bell," He said looking from what we're doing to us, and then directly into my eyes.
I felt my words get caught in my through but Dave being my best bro he knew what to say.
"We'll have 3 dorito tacos and 3 soft tacos," Dave said not taking his eyes off the game.
Dirk nodded and left the room closing the door behind him. I stared at where he was standing.
"Dude get your controller you're gonna lose!" I heard Dave yell and I quickly grabbed my controller continuing the game.
Dave passed out about an hour after finishing out tacos. It's late anyway although I can't sleep. I heard some rustling in another room and I slowly krept out of Dave's room.
I walked into the living area to see Dirk cleaning one of his swords.
"Hey John, what're you doing up so late?" He asked moving his attention from his sword to me.
I felt my face heat up but I had to answer since I didn't have Dave to step in for me.
"I-I uh couldn't sleep..." I stuttered.
"You couldn't either, huh?" He said putting his sword away.
"Want to watch a movie or something?" He asked.
I perked up. I love movies!
"Sure! What movies do you have?" I asked smiling.
He motioned me to a shelf of movies letting me choose. I chose the one that looked most appealing to me. He took the movie from me and looked at it a moment before putting it in. He sat down on the couch and I sat down on the opposite side.
"You can sit over here, I'm not sick or anything," He said looking at me.
I moved over closer to him so we were next to each other. I sat a bit tenser than usual but Dirk didn't seem to notice and we just watched the movie.
