Poisonkit jumped happily through the gorse, as her brother looked for mice. "What if they can't survive?" Rosefeather said, "they'll be able to! I just know it!" Appleleaf said, "I'm just so nervous..." The she-cat sighed and wondered about her kits, could they survive?...she couldn't be sure til the time came...
Appleleaf was running through the trees as the howling and barking got louder, but he kept running. He made sure the kits were safe in a tree, but his mate was gone...the one he loved for so long was a lifeless corpse being devoured by coyote's... But he ran as fast as he could but started getting tired, he ran up to the edge of a cliff and panicked till....... CRACK! The rock he was standing on broke and he plummeted to his death till the kits heard a loud thud. They sat there and cried for hours til they slept.. When they awoke they thought it was all a dream till they saw there mother covered in blood laying still in the stained grass. They both where to scared to get off if the branch they were on but with time they got less afraid and jumped off. poisonkits brother was able to search for the coyote's to make sure they where safe, they sat by there mothers lifeless body and prayed to moonclan for there mother and fathers deaths. Then poisonkit got a jolt of energy, and she heard a small voice say "do not doubt the small, for they have great powers from the moon" the jolt left her quickly, "what happened? Your eyes went white!" There was a hint of fear in his voice. "No I'm fine....I think..." She then looked up and thought about all the things that could have meant.
The freezing wintery night air burnt poisenkits nose as they walked up a marshy slope. They looked at the beautiful terrain of the moonlit trees, they also saw rivers and small streams. "Isn't it gorgeous?!" Poisonkit said, "I suppose..." Owlkit said obnoxiously, he slowly crept towards piosonkit and then pounced and push her down the hill in a jokingly matter. A bit later she ran up and tackled him to the ground and play fought till they got tired and rested in the lush grass on the hill..."I miss them...." She said. "Yeah I do to sis" he said as he rapped his tail over her until they drifted off into a deep long comforting sleep till morning. "Hey sleepyhead wake up!" poisenkit said as she pawed her brothers nose, "ugh, its too early... Its barely morning sis" he said, "so? I want to exploreee!!!" The she-kit said, "ugh noooo! Its way to early mouse-brain!" He says as he falls asleep once more, a few hours later he woke up to being alone, he got up and walked around to look for his sister. "Poisonkit? Hello? Where are yah........?..." He said out loud till he heard a loud noise in a tree, and decided to leave the area in despite of his sister being gone.
