Keith had just finished a long day at work. He worked as a college professor at Harvard University. Although he liked his job, and it paid well, right now he wanted nothing more than to get home as soon as possible, as kiss his fiancee. They had been engaged for about a week now, and Keith was already starting to see the difference. Both him and Lance were happier, and more relaxed, since they now had one less thing to worry about for the future. As he boarded he train, he thought about how lucky he was. He was going to get married to the love of his life. He got excited just thinking about it. However, what Keith was unaware of, was that Lance was not home, but was at Pidge's house, crying as they held him.
"Pidge what if- what if he leaves me?" he questioned with wide eyes.
Pidge looked at him with a sad smile on her lips and said, "He would never do that to you, you know this."
He looked at her, knowing she was right, but that didn't change the fact that this, was in fact his greatest fear. He loved Keith with his whole heart, and wanted to get married, but couldn't seem to keep out the Intrusive thoughts. Those of Keith not wanting to get marred. Or worse; those in which Keith cheats on him, and leaves him for someone else that surely better than him. He saw the worry on there face begin to dissipate as he smiled, hugged them and said,
"Thanks Pidge'
"anytime."
With that, he left. He didn't live very far away, so when Pidge looked out their window to see the door close, she immediately sent Keith a text. It read:
Code blue.
