[ Chapter One, Excerpt]

Sitting on the  bus stop, I watched the cars driving by  as each of them passed me without giving me a second glance.   All they knew was that I was this girl waiting for a bus come to bring me to another year of school at Shibuski High, the richest private school, my father was able to afford.

My father owned the largest company in Tokyo, Japan, he was known for giving, yet charismatic personality, but he had another side that they did not know.    The side that constantly came out when I mentioned the boy, who I once loved and wanted to marry last year.   He disliked this boy so much that I wondered if he had pushed that boy away or I had with the secrets of my life.

Putting both of my hands upon my face I knelt down my face in deep thought  when I heard the shuffling of feet moving across the concrete floor and that unknown person seated across me.

Wondering who it was.

Without a second notice, he turned towards me and for sure, I knew my guess was right.   It was the boy that I had still waited for and was hoping to see for a very long  He soon felt my presence, turned about and stared at me, for a very long time. time.

Then, he uttered quietly to me, " Alexis, it is nice to see you again.." before he faced his face to  the streets and became quiet and stiff- like, laying both of his hands on his knees, sitting nervously and awkwardly like he did not want to be here at all.
