Ch 11: Internships!

She danced around the room, asking all the students about different features of themselves, saying that everything piqued her interest.

"I see you're all lacking any rationality," Shouta said plainly.

"Please do not worry, Eraserhead, (Y/N)-sensei! I'm the key performer, after all!" Mirio exclaimed. "The journey ahead-"

Mirio put his hand to his ear and faced it towards the students, waiting for a response, but he got nothing. "That's where you say 'will be full of difficulties!' Alright! You all utterly fail at getting the point of the conversation!"

The students chatted, asking why they were all acting like weirdoes. "I can see from your faces that you have no clue what's going on. The explanation of the internships has been left to the third-years who appeared out of nowhere. It doesn't make much sense at all, right? You all acquired your provisional licenses as first-years, right? You guys are really energetic, huh?" A look of determination made its way onto his face. "I see...it seems like my intro fell flat here, so..."

"Mirio?" Amajiki questioned.

"How would you all like to team up...and fight against me?!"

"H...Huuuuuh?!" The students queried.

"Wouldn't it make sense for them to feel our experience with their own bodies?" Mirio asked us.

I nodded. "Go all out."

All of class 1-A got on the field, ready to face their upperclassman(senpai), and in short, they all got obliterated. He passed through the ground(and his clothes), and evaded all of their attacks with ease. The students of Class 1-A all cradled their stomachs like they were about to throw up.

"-so that's the gist of it! Was my Quirk strong?" Mirio finished. 

"Too strong!!" Hanta yelled.

"It's unfair! How am I supposed to feel?!" Tooru whined.

"Not only phasing but teleportation?! Are you one of those hybrids like Todoroki?!" Mina asked.

"Oh! Oh! I can explain! Let me tell them! Let me tell them! Perm-" Nejire started to speak but was interrupted by Amajiki.

"Hadou, right now is Mirio's time."

Mirio answered the students' questions. "No, I've only got one Quirk! It's called 'Permeation!' Those movements you guys call 'teleportation'; that's just an application of my Quirk!" He apologized to Nejire for not letting her explain. Mirio then continued explaining the machinations of his Quirk, what he does in order to use it to the fullest, and what the internship did to him to help him further his experience. 

After that, it was time to head back to our usual activities, and for the students to choose someone to intern under. After the day was done, I went into the faculty room, basically an office for all the staff who teach. I walked over to my desk and did all my papers and stuff, then I retired to my room for the night.

The next day, I stayed at my desk to sort out any papers left over, while Hizashi subbed in for me. All Might was at his desk when he called me over for help.

"(L/N), can you come over and help me sort out these files?"

I nodded and went over to his desk, and helped him with his paperwork. A little while later, Izuku came to All Might's desk. 

"You want me to introduce you to Sir Nighteye for an internship?" Toshinori asked.

"Yes, he's one of the few agents that used to work under you!" Izuku answered. "His name came up while I was calling Gran Torino in order to get a head start on the internship. Please introduce me!"
