Dean and his dad was sitting in the directors office of the Rehab Clinic. Dean was already pissed that he had to be here. Looking outside the window from his chair, when his dad turns his face to his.
"This is your last chance Dean...either you get sober, or else." Jon looks at him.
"Dad I know, get off my back."
Jon grabs his arm, "I am not joking Dean, you don't straighten out in the next 3 months I will ship you to Military School. You should be so blessed that your mother convince me to give you this chance."
Dean shook his head sitting in the office. "Dad I know, but I can kick this habit on my own, why here?"
"Listen Bud just for 3 months, if you can show improvement here, then I will bring you home and let you finish on your own. Just 3 simple months."
Dean was going to say something but the director came in. Dean saw his dad stand up, he didn't but his dad lifts him up.
"Hello, I am Hunter Helmsley. I run this place, nice to meet you two...please, please have a seat there, and I will explain everything."
Dean and his dad sat back down. They watched as Hunter went over grabbing a few sheets of paper from the file cabinet. Dean looked at his dad, but all his dad did was look back without even feeling bad. Dean knew he had a drug and alcohol problem, but he fought it off before.
Hunter turns around smiling at them. "Alright here are the papers Mr. Ambrose. Just want to go over the basic rules while your here."
Jon looks at the paperwork nodding as Hunter was talking.
"First Dean, we don't tolerate fighting. You are assigned colors, and as you follow the rules and attend classes, then you go up on a color."
Jon looks up, "What do you mean you go up in colors?"
"Hunter smiles, "Its simple Mr. Ambrose. Here at Second Chances, you have to earn privileges. We don't award them for doing nothing sir."
Jon nods at him, "Continue."
Hunter looks at Dean, "Here you don't sleep in, you have lots of classes to do. In fact you will do more here than an you would do on an average day."
Dean mumbles something no one heard. Jon looks at him, he knew Dean was gonna say something and be a smartass, but glad he didn't.
Hunter looks at Dean, "You will have your own room of course, but your expected to keep it clean. We don't have maid services here, so treat it like you would your own room please." looks at Jon, "We don't do miracles here, but we get him off the drugs and alcohol."
Jon looks at Dean, starts to sign the papers, but Dean grabs his hand. He looks at his dad with a pleading look. Jon looks at him, pats his hand. Then he removed Deans hand then signed the papers. He knew he was doing the right thing.
Hunter stands up smiling shaking Jons hand. Jon turns to Dean, hugs him.
"Don't make me wish I didn't send you to Military School bud, just take these 3 months and apply yourself. You will see these 3 months will fly by."
Dean could only nod, hugging his dad back. Walking out the office with his dad, he watched him leave. Maybe it wont be so bad here. Hunter pats his back, watching Jon leave, then out the door. He nods for Batista to take Dean's bag. He was confused and wont let go.
"Lets go Dean, now don't worry you will get your bag back. We have to check it to make sure your not sneaking in any drugs or alcohol."
Dean glares at him, "You don't have to do that, my dad double checked it before we left, and once we got here."
Hunter smiles at him, "Its just our policy here, now lets continue walking shall we."
Dean walks with him, but looks back seeing that guy take his bag, then he smirks at Dean. Half listening to Hunter, he noticed a wheelchair with handcuffs connected to it. What did his dad send him to really? Did his dad know about this place? Dean shakes his head of course not, his dad wont let this stuff happen.
"Hunter looks at him, then the wheelchair, "Oh that, don't worry, its only for people who act out, and don't follow the rules. We handcuff them, then sedated them to calm down."
Dean was shocked, then looks at him, "Hey! You can't handcuff, and drug a person because they broke a rule. I will tell my dad, and he will shut this place down."
Hunter looks around, then pushes Dean against the wall, "Listen boy I can be your best friend or your worse enemy while your in here. So I suggest you keep your mouth shut."
Hunter smiles patting Deans face. Dean won't lie he was scared of what just happened but was glad when Hunter let me go. They walked to his bedroom. Looking around it had everything, a bed, dresser, even a desk and chair most surprisingly a window, but with bars on it.
"Now the right to the rules." Hunter looks at him.
"But...I, um I thought you told me in your office." turning to look at Hunter.
Hunter laughs, "There are more Dean.....now let's start with what you wear. You are not permitted to wear jeans, and those tennis shoes got to go. You will be assigns slippers, and joggers, no tank tops, a proper shirts will do."
Dean looks at him, "Why can't I wear jeans or tennis shoes?"
Hunter clears his throat, "So you don't harm yourself." looks at him, "You are to be in bed at 9 o clock sharp. That means in this room lights off. While your here your, permitted to go to your couselor." looks at his folder.
"Wait do I even get my bag back?"
Hunter ignored him, "Okay you have Mr. Shawn Michaels who you be with for an hour, then from there you will report to your support group with 7 other patients. Then from there you have another group with just 2 other people." flips the page over, "Plus normal classes as well."
Dean tried to absorb all this in. It was crazy, he never done all this on one day let alone all day. He felt Hunter tap his shoulder, he looks at him.
"Another thing your up at 8 sharp for breakfast where you will grace your presence whether you like it or not. Then lunch is at 12 sharp then dinner at 5 sharp. Now since it is after 7 already, you can just hang in your room."
He hands Dean some papers, "Here is a map to where you want to go. They are numbers on each floor, plus the rooms are in alphabetized also. It isn't hard, so I don't expect you to make it hard. Like your father said these 3 months will fly by, but it also depends how you act."
Dean looks at him confused, then sits down, putting the papers on the bed. He sighs, trying to soak up everything. 3 months of this place, he wonder if Military School wasn't so bad. He was thinking when his bag was thrown in his room, the door was shut. Dean got up being curious, walks to the door. Turns the handle, to his surprise it wasn't lock. He goes laying on his bed hearing different voices, but didn't bother getting up.
