After my talk with Izzy about my feelings I fell asleep only to be woken up by Magnus 3 hours later
" hey how are you feeling" he asks
" I'm fine Magnus" I say looking away from his alluring brown eyes
" Ali no your not what's bothering you" he sits next to me turning my face towards him but i still refuse to meet his eyes
" like I told Izzy and Alec I'm fine" I stood and walked away from him
" that's not what Izzy said" I stiffen and sigh
" what did she say" I ask
" just that your conflicted with your emotions and are having trouble figuring them out" he says I feel him behind me
" I'm fine" I repeat hoping for him to back off of my case
" Ali....." he sighs spinning me into a hug
" I'm her if you need me you know that" my stomach has butterflies again

" do you want to talk to me about it" he asks
" not yet I just need to figure it out on my own for now" he nods and pulls back
" let's get you some dinner yeah" he links our hands and we walk out together, I see Maryse with Alec and Izzy
" Ali I see you up" Izzy sas skipping over
" yeah I guess" I say looking over at Alec for a few seconds his eyes were on my hand hat was linked with Magnus'
" what's up with Alec" I ask Izzy she shrugs
" nothing he's just his usual self are you two going somewhere" she asks
" I'm taking her to dinner since nobody here can cook" Izzy glares at Magnus who laughs
" I'll bring her back in one piece I promise" Magnus says smiling
" ok oh don't forget this" Izzy grabs my blade and hands it to me
" always be prepared for anything" sh says walking away as we go through a porta
Alec's P.O.V
I watch Alisha leave with Magnus and I sigh silently
" Alec dear are you ok" my asks looking at me
" yeah fine" I state quickly she smiles softly at me
" if you want the girl Alec sitting on your ass while Magnus takes her places isn't going to do anything" Izzy says shaking her head
" I don't know what your talking about" I say
" sure you don't" Izzy and mum say at the same time
" so have we got any more information on Valentine" I ask Jace snorts

He runs it over a rune before the glamour drops and revealed a blonde woman with a green blazer on
" your reaction time is slow, I'm Lydia branwell envoy from the clave" she states confidently
" how the hell did she catch your arrow" my sister says from beside me
" no idea but she's fast" I say watching her as she walks past and starts conversing with my mother
" I don't like her" Max says walking away
Alisha's P.O.V
After dinner me and Magnus went shopping in Paris before returning to the institute we were both laughing when the portal returned us. Izzy met me half way down the stairs Magnus left just before putting my things in my room
" umm you need to come with me" she says grabbing my hand and leading me to the central room we're Alec stood with a blonde woman
" You must be Alisha Herondale, my name is Lydia Branwell envoy from the clave and temporary head of the institute" she sticks a hand out for me to shake I just stare at her hand then her before tilting my head with a raised eyebrow
" I'm sorry when I was here 3 hours ago Maryse was the head not you" I say slightly annoyed Maryse was nice to me so I got defensive
" well there under suspicion at the moment for being circle members"she states
" ok but I don't care who you are I will make your life a living hell if you hurt my friends" I say walking away from the group to watch Lydia from afar she was shaking her head
" hi I'm max" a little boy says staring at me
" hello Max I'm Ali" I bens to his height
" I'm hungry can you get me something to eat" I nod and lead him to the kitchen to make him a ham and cheese sandwich and hand it to him he was it quickly
" there you two are" Jace says coming in
" hey did you just get back" he nods tiredly
" where Clary" I ask he shrugs
" after I met Lydia she went to her room" he says pulling an apple out of the fridge

It's been about 2 days since Lydia arrived and Alec has been distant since this morning

" Ali" he says before walking away
" ok did I do soomething to piss you off" I snap he turns and faces me with a surprised expression

" then why are you  being distant with me " I ask
