Prologue
Feet clattered against the cobblestones as a lone figure ran through the streets. Her hair flew out behind her as she turned corner after corner, hoping to lose the man following her. As she ran her foot clipped a raised piece of the road. She tumbled to the ground, skidding and tearing her skin and dress. Shaking slightly she looked behind her, expecting to see him. There was nothing. With a sigh of relief she turned back around to pick herself up. Her blood ran cold as she stared at the boots next to her face. Shaking slightly she looked up and see a psychopathic grin adoring his face. A flash of silver was the last thing she saw. She didn’t even have time to scream.
