Sydney's POV.
Today's my 19th birthday. I woke up with the sound of my alarm like usual, got dressed left my room and walked down to the kitchen. I made my self some eggs and sat in silence. I stood up and walked over to the sink. I put my plate and fork in the tray we have and went over to the couch. I got the remote off our coffee table and turned on my favorite show Friends. I was two episodes in when I got a knock on the door. I got up and walked to the door to see who it was. I opened the door and it was Harvey.
"Hey!" He said with a huge smile in his face
"Hii" I said rapping my arms around him
"Happy Birthday princess"
"Thanks Harvey"
Harvey and I have been best-friends since we were 10. I met him through my brother Rye. But I've been keeping a secret from Harvey. I like him. Like REALLY like him. He's someone that I care for a lot and wish I could call mine. Only problem.. he doesn't know. I talked to Loren yesterday about it and she said I should tell him today. As in right now.
"Hey Harvey?"
"Yes?"
"Umm can I tell you something?"
Harvey's POV.
When she opened the door I looked at her and blushed. She looks beautiful like always. Me and her have been besties since we were 10. I don't like her. I LOVE her. Like a lot. And I'm going to tell her today how I feel.
"Hey Harvey?" She asked nervously
"Yes?"
"Umm can I tell you something?" She asked smiling slightly
"Of course!"
"Well.. I- I like you.. like a lot"
I- I couldn't believe she actually likes me. 9 years of liking this girl and she feels the same way! Like this is awesome. I stood there and smiled at her. I had no idea what to say.
"I- ." I began but was cut off
"You don't like me. I get it"
"No..it's not that. It just that I love you.."
"R-really?"
