We saw New Donk City at Mario's trailer in the official Super Smash Bros Ultimate website (I think), so the only new thing we saw was how we can move to the band members and Pauline to do, uh, something. Don't know what, though.
Haven't play Castlevania, don't know what to say about Dracula's Castle, next.

Let's talk about a few of the new features.
The Stage Morph caught me pretty off guard and made say "what" a lot.

NOW I CAN PLAY THE SONG OF STORMS ON ANY LEGEND OF ZELDA STAGE (At least, I hope so) LIKE I ALWAYS WANTED TO \TWT/
I can already tell that me + Smashdown = disaster and chaos
The Final Smash meter seems pretty cool, but seeing as how it can leave you wide open (like how immediately after Lucas used his Final Smash, Lucina got hers and finished off Lucas in the blink of an eye in this direct), I doubt I'll be playing with it much.
The whole "choosing if an Echo Fighter appears next to the fighter they're based off of or have them stacked" configuration seems pretty useful. It saves up space when you're choosing a fighter.
Squad Strike seems interesting, but I don't know anyone that would want to play it with me, so...
That's all the features that caught my eye.
Now, we gotta build up hype again for the blurred option in the main menu and sideboard shown in the direct. Who knows, it might be story mode, it might be a whole new mode that's never been done before in the history of Smash, but we gotta stay hyped for it!
