Kirito sat in his regular school desk by the window staring out of the window watching all the birds flying and playing.
"Kirito pay attention!" Their teacher yelled at him as she threw an eraser at him. Kirito looked over at the board and sighed. Kirito acted like he was paying attention but in reality, he was thinking of this girl, he had no idea who she was or why he was thinking of her but all he knew was that she is the most beautiful girl he has ever seen before.
The bell rang for lunch snapping Kirito out of his thoughts. He got up to go outside to eat his lunch but was stopped in the doorway by this girl. The one who he was thinking about. Kirito tried to fight off the blush that was forming on his checks.
"Do you want to eat lunch together? I noticed you are always alone so I wanted to give you company." The girl said and when she did Kirito almost fell over in surprise and nodded. The girl walked pasted Kirito and sat down in a desk by Kirito's and started to take out her lunch. Kirito, still in shock walked over to his deck and sat down and slowly got out his lunch.
"What did you bring for lunch?" The girl asked Kirito and when he realized she was talking he snapped out of his thoughts and said,
"Its nothing special, just some rice and noodles." The girl looked at Kirito and sighed and handed him a sandwich.
"Here I made two today take it." Kirito looked at the girl with shock in his eyes and slowly took the sandwich from her and took a bite. Kirito's eyes went as big as marbles and took another bite.
"This is amazing! Did you make this?" Kirito asked as he took another bite from the sandwich. The girl just giggled and took another bite of her sandwich and nodded to Kirito's answer.
After the two got done eating their lunch Kirito started to ask but got cut off by the bell,
"W-" The girl looked at Kirito and said as if she knew what he was going to ask,
"My name's Asuna Yuuki" Kirito smiled and replied,
"Nice to meet you Asuna, my names Kirito." Asuna smiled and got up and walked over to her desk and sat down.
'Her name is just as beautiful as she is.' Kirito thought as the class started to come in from there lunch.
Asuna's POV
'I wonder what was with him, he seemed really awkward.' Asuna thought to her self as she stared at the clock.
Asuna got lost in thought about what she was going to do after school, she thought about playing her new Virtual Reality game, Sword Art Online. Asuna had just bought it yesterday and she hadn't had any time to play it yet because she had been dealing with a lot of family issues, Asuna had gotten into a fight with her mother last night about why she had bought that game in the first place.
The bell rang at three like it does every day. Asuna started to pick up her books and put them into her bag.
"Hey Asuna, do you have a phone?" She heard someone ask from behind her and when she turned around she saw Kirito behind her.
"I do, why do you want my number?" She asked Kirito as she looked into Kirito's big eyes and got lost in them for a few seconds before she was snapped back to reality by Kirito saying,
"Yeah just so we could get to know each other more and maybe become friends you know." Asuna smiled at that and wrote her number down on a piece of paper and handed it to Kirito.
"Thanks, talk to you later!" Kirito said as he started to walk out the door.
"Man he's weird but I like it." Asuna said out loud to herself as she finished packing her books away and put her bag on.
