(Rascal x Reader) Strange

Part 12

"Ugh." I sigh as I try to pinch the big red dot off my face. "Just pinch it already geez." Kelsey interrupted. "I'm trying! It hurts..." I complain, honestly still in a pouty mood. "And hey! Where's my ice cream?" I joke, causing Kelsey to scoff. "The school dance starts in two hours. We need to get ready. The girls are on their way." I looked at Kelsey's reflection in the mirror, which was walking out the door.  I scold thinking about the dance, then that strange, chilly feeling comes back.

'I don't want to go to the dance.....just the thought of it now feels off....'

I shake it off and get ready, with the feeling still in the back of my mind.

After we got ready-besides popping that pimple-we had to wait for the girls to come. I decided to watch one of my favorite movies, y/f/m ( your favorite movie) while Kelsey went off in the bathroom to do some other stuff I didn't even bother to ask about.

They didn't even have to ring the doorbell for me to get up and open the door, their loud chattering had done the trick long before they were even in front of the door.

I swing the door open and their bright and cheery faces all turned to face me.

"Heyyyyy!" They all said perfectly in sync. They all squished me in one big group hug. "Heyyyy." I groan back. Seeing them  certainly made me feel better, but not enough to make me any less tired. The thought of going to the dance, actually attempting to socialize and DANCE with other human beings at this hour did not seem the most appealing, especially when y/f/m was still playing on tv. Kelsey came running out of the area where the bathroom was and said hey to everyone else, giving them all a great big embrace just like they had previously done to me. "All right! Ready to go?" Kelsey asked, one of her arms still wrapped around Emily's.

"Yeah!" Was everyone's (except I of course) response.
