"Sirius we're going to get caught!" Regulus seethed quietly. He hated two things, the dark and the cold. And it always was dark and cold during the wintry midnights of Grimmuld place.

"Relax Reg!" His brother whispered back, "Just be quiet and we'll be in and out. It'll all be ancient history by tomorrow morning,"

Regulus' frown lessens but he couldn't unknot his chest, "I don't know about this Sirius...we could just..."

"What? Call it a night and go back to our rooms?" Sirius interrupted, glaring aggressively at his younger sibling, "Well if you want to do that then go ahead! I'm getting myself a treat!"

Regulus bit his lip hesitating, "Why are we even doing this? We could just have tomorrow with the other guests!"

"With the other guests!" Sirius repeated, carelessly raising his voice, "Reg their twice our size, the chocolate would be gone before you even look at it! Besides, I'll be damned if I don't have dessert and my going away party!"

Regulus frowned. He had forgotten that Sirius would be gone in a few months from now.

"But..."

"No buts! If you don't want to go ahead and grab those scrumptious chocoballs that are stuffed with salty caramel, then don't! But don't except me to share later," Sirius turned around, the light fading away as he carried the candle with him. His brother had never been the patient one.

"No wait up!" Regulus muttered after him, his fear of the dark getting to him, "I'm coming,"

"I knew you had some your weren't all books and boringness Reg! Now come along...and hurry!" Sirius was practically jogging down the corridor as though he sensed someone was coming. Regulus could feel it too though he chose to ignore the subtle vibrations.

"W..why are we in such a hurry?" Regulus panted.

"Just hurry up and shut your trap!" Sirius shot back. He seemed a bit more panicky then he had at the beginning of the journey.

"W..we made it. Now let's take some and go," Regulus said as they approached the kitchen.

"Okay, okay," he reached for their mothers not so secret drawer and picked the lock, "Now my good brother, we feast!"

Regulus smiled brightly, he could smell the rich scent from where he was standing, "Where did you learn how to do that by the way?" He asked while stuffing his pockets with the treats.
