Stalker

BEGINNING

"Stop staring at her. You look like a stalker."

"Mhmm"

"Are you even listening to me?"

"I know."

"Look, we have work to do and- mARY!" My best friend, Eli snapped her fingers in front of my face, dragging me out of my trance. We were at my favorite coffeeshop, and new workplace, and I couldn't stop staring at this one girl that walked in. There was just something about her... the way her eyes disappeared when she laughed, the uneven dimples on her rosy cheeks. From the second she stumbled in, all my attention was on her.

"Yeah yeah yeah-" my eyes manage to pull away from her curvy figure to look at Eli. "I'll stop staring, but I'm DEFINITELY writing something for her on her coffee cup."

Eli gives me a knowing look, slightly shaking her head. "Mary- you don't even know if she's INTO girls."

"Yeah, but she's my type! Did you SEE that bIG A-"

"Excuse me?" My completely respectful and PG words were cut of by a middle-aged woman. "Yes, may I please have a..." I tune out her monotone voice as Eli takes her order. Next in line is Cutie, and she's all mine...

"Welcome to Allegro Coffee, how may I help you?" I gave the girl my sweet smile.

"Hello!" Her voice was high- and silky smooth. "Could I just get 2 caramel frappes?"

"Sure thing sweetheart! Can I have a name for that?"

"Erina."

"Mmm- pretty name for a pretty girl." I give her a little wink, and her already rosy cheeks flush a deeper shade of red as she takes a small step back.

"Oh- uh, thanks? Yeah, um-" she scratches the back of her head as she lets out a small giggle.

This is going to be fun.

so this is my first time PUBLISHING anything... and I'm pretty nervous. I haven't written in a while, but I hope my writing is still decent :')

ANYWAYS- I know this was super short, but there will be a lot more to come (I hope)
