My legs quickly pushed me forward pushing my forward the baby clutched between my arms carefully. I huffed my body drenched in rain as it poured, I gasped for air desperate to keep running.
my entire body ache legs, back, arms........ looking behind I saw circles of light move around frantically trying to spot me. police quickly ran in circles there flashlights searched making me fearful.
I ran harder pushing my legs through the deep puddles, my breathing became more raspy and large.
I saw a abandoned building in the short distance quickly running towards it. I used my shoulder to open it harshly but it was practically falling inside. I stopped leaning over catching my breath, full of sweat and rain I stepped forward my legs giving out slightly.
I gasped before looking around, it was dark and there were boxes and old furniture everywhere. clutching Adam I slowly walk around before finding a mat that'd lying on the ground between a few boxes.
I sit down relived to rest my legs, I tilted my head down to look at Adam. slowly lifting my hand I move the clothes out of his face.
he looked at me with his Illuminated bright blue eyes, I stared at him before sighing. 'its going to be alright k?' I told reassuring myself though.
the baby just stared at me with his big round eyes, we stayed silent for a long time mummers drowned out by the rain.
don't know how but a fell asleep cradling Adam as I slept peacefully.
