Chapter 6: The Test

He moved closer to the glass.

(Polpo)"And that's trust! When one has to choose from a list of candidates, the most important element to note is trust. This test is about measuring your trustworthiness, using these lighter's flames! Take them, and don't let the flames die..."

The gold lighter that he was holding suddenly appeared on a slot on the door without Polpo putting there. Giorno was confused, but went to grab the lighter.

The gaurd checked Giorno first, and asked him to open his hand. He slowly opened it, and revealed a flower. The guards let it slide, and checked Kaito. They didn't find the lighter, and let them leave.

(Kaito)"So, you turned it into a flower?"

The center of the flower had smoke coming out, and it turned back into the lighter.

(Giorno)"Yes, and I covered the flame with the petals. Where's yours?"

Victim of Reality appeared, and opened his mouth, then stuck his tongue out with the lighter still lit on it. Kaito grabbed the lighter.

(Kaito)"My stand can do many things. One of them being able to hide anything."

(Giorno)"So that's how you got it from Polpo?"

(Kaito)"Yep, Victim of Reality grabbed the lighter when he was looking at you, then he phased it through the wall and gave it to me behind my back."

(Giorno)"What can your stand not do?"

(Kaito)"...It can't...not do anything. I haven't been in a situation that he couldn't get us out of."

(Giorno)"Well, this test should be easy for you."
