HOUSE ANUBIS HAD SEEN BETTER DAYS.
The weather had taken a harsh turn in the middle of the night. A large electrical storm hit the house cutting them off from making any communication or electricity anywhere once they realised this in the morning panic filled there minds.
With the rain not giving up from its harsh down pour the school called to suspend Amun Academic Boarding School until the storm cleared and they had everything up and running again.

Everyone mainly the teens of House Anubis were complaining about how there was no electricity, no cell service, and angry that rain was stopping them from having a life.

However the rain did let in one thing.
A train had slowly pulled into the station, a young girl stepped onto the platform with her bags hanging off her shoulders and griped in her hands. She didn't mind the rain as it ran down her skin freely as the other passengers seeked shelter in the waiting station. It was known to the girl that they were heading into the storm but for some odd reason the train wasn't cancelled.

A taxi driver ran out from his car to the girl standing in the rain not inside "Are You Kendall Anderson?" He called out over the loud rain drops and thunder.

"Yeah!" The rain now drenching her making her clothes cling to her body awkwardly, the taxi drivers newspaper covering his head made it hard for her to see his face.

"I have a towel in the car! You dad said it was a priority to get you at Anubis so he paid me extra to have you dry and there!" Walking her to the car carefully making sure she wasn't going to slip over he opened and closed the car door for her kindly before slipping into the car seat.

"Have you been waiting long?" Kendall shivered out, her teeth now clattering making the man shake his head at the idiotic teen who he found in the rain, he was sure she regretted it already.

"I knew the train would be late they've had no communication for the last 14 hours. Especially with this bloody rain! I'm surprised the train didn't get cancelled or stop in at its last stop" turning up the heater a few more notches he threw her the towel that sat on his passenger seat.

"Yeah it was weird the rain wasn't as heavy on the way in until we arrived" he hummed thinking about how odd that was. The wind screen wiper moving in sync as they talked about the strange weather of England.

"Thanks for this- my dad must've paid you a lot to make you drive through this storm" her tongue clicking at the end knowing how obsessive her dad was getting her to Anubis.

"He must really want you to get to the house safely" Kendall hummed at his comment. Her father indeed wanted her to arrive safely.
