She had this light in her eyes that nobody could dim or take away. You looked into her eyes countless times and the light you saw made you smile and you knew she was strong... but you looked into them the other day and the light was gone, or so dim you couldn't see it. One day she may have it back, but today, today it's gone. Today she is just a broken young girl trying to face the world. She is trying to smile and pretend everything is fine, everything is normal, but its not. She laughs with her friends and smiles when she knows she should. She makes you think she okay, but the fact is... she's not. She cries every second she isn't in the public eye. She thinks about how she will never be the same again. She thinks about how God would have never let this happen if he was real. She questions everything she believed in, because her world fell apart and nothing stopped it from happening. Nothing came to help after there were pieces scattered everywhere of her heart. One second she was happy and glowed when she smiled and laughed... a few seconds later she's laying in the middle of a field looking at the stars wishing it was her instead. She never did get to say goodbye to you. You were here for a second, then you were gone; and with you, you took her light and
