Chapter 6 ''Hi.' Message Of The Year'

"Annnndddd?" I said, emphasizing the n.

"And, I don't want you to butt in, like the little bitch that you are. Okay? Don't be a little hoe."

What were those two words she called me? I'm guessing 'bitch' meant like a snitch and she doesn't want me to snitch on her. So she meant 'dont snitch.' It all makes sense now.

What about hoe, though? Eh, I'll just ask Stevey later.

She went back to where she was sitting and glared at me the whole time. What have I done to her? A moment later Steven came in with my sandwich and Courtney replaced the glare with a smile. What an actress.

"Did you guys get to know each other better?" Stevey asked.

Before I could respond, Courtney had already answered with the biggest lie ever.

"Yes. We did. We get along pretty well since we're both awesome." She lied.

No. We don't get along. And yes I'm awesome, but liars aren't.

Before, Steven could ask me if it was true or not, I asked him, "Stevey, can I go to your room and play some video games?"

"Yeah, sure."

Then I left them alone...just for a little while.

20 minutes later...

Steven POV

Alexis had left a while ago, leaving Courtney and I alone. We finished eating our food and we just sat there at the table talking about random stuff.

Like really random. For example: Would you rather jump in a pool full of people's crap or would you rather jump off a plane hoping to land on a fat woman?

We were saying all sorts of weird stuff until, Alexis started running all around the house. I've already gotten used to her playfulness therefore, this wasn't new to me. Courtney though, was a different story. I think she got pretty pissed.

"Tell her to stop running around." She told me.

"Believe me. If it were that easy to make her sit down, my life would be so much easier."

She huffed. Then she cleared her throat. She looked over to where Alexis was. Alexis stopped running and looked at her.

"Stop running around." She commanded Alexis.

"Why should I? God gave us legs to use them, not to be sitting down all the time."

Courtney had nothing else to do but to clench her jaw. Alexis did a few other stunts like this.

I had went to go make another sandwich for Alexis, which she was eating with us. With her mouth open.

"Stop eating with your mouth open." Courtney told her.

"Stop acting like if you're my mom."

Alexis kept saying stuff to Courtney like that and eventually she got fed up to something she said and left. Okay so this is what happened.

Alexis: Courtney! Courtney!

Courtney: What?

Alexis: Will you come play with me?

Courtney: No.

Alexis: Why not?

Courtney: Because playing is for little girls.

Alexis: So? Just because you're old doesn't mean anything.

Courtney: 1)I'm not old. 2) I'm a self respected lady. And 3) Self respected ladies don't play.

Alexis: Who's the lady?

Courtney: Alright that's it!

I got to admit that was pretty funny so I laughed. She got up and said goodbye to me and left faster than the Flash himself. I turned to Alexis and asked, "Why?"

"She didn't like me so, I didn't like her."

"...I kinda noticed that. But why?"

"I don't know."

We were quiet for a moment until she spoke up.

"Stevey..."

"Yes, Cupcake?"

"You remember when I barely came and you went to go make me a sandwich and left me alone with her?"

I started to get a bad feeling about this. "Yeeeaaahhh?"

"She called me these two words but I already figured out what one of them means. But, I don't know what the other one means."

What did she call her? "What was that word?"

"Stevey..."

"Yes, Cupcake?" I said starting to grow more anxious.

"What's a hoe?"
