"Hmm. So you're the Steven I've been talking to, huh?" She said first.
"The one and the only." I chuckled. I motioned my hand for her to come inside. "C'mon in."
"Thank you."
We went inside and I lead her towards the table which I, surprisingly, set. It even had like two candles. I also put like two roses in some little vases. I went into the kitchen to go grab the food I had made. I had bought some honey buns to go to with the grilled chicken and mac and cheese. To me, it was all devouring looking. I arrived at the table and saw her sorta lick her lips. That's a good start. I set down the plates and quietly said a quick prayer.
"Let's eat!" I said. And we dug in.
I don't know why but, I expected her to be one of those girls who worries about how many calories her food has.
Honestly, I wonder why girls think like that because, I mean, who gives a damn? As long as you are who you are, then you don't have to worry about anything because the right guy for you will love you for who you are.
We were talking about random stuff until... someone knocked on the front door.
Crap. I had forgotten to tell Alexis about today's date with Courtney.
When I opened the door Alexis came in running like a soul running away from the devil himself.
"GUESS WHAT?! GUESS WHAT?! GUESS WHAT?!" She yelled, breathless from the running.
"Calm down, Cupcake." She took in deep breaths and then she started talking again.
"Okay. I'm okay now."
"Now, what?"
"I made a goal for my soccer team and because of that we won and now we're going to the semi-finals of the tournament!" She said all that in one breath. Then she turned over to where the table was and saw Courtney.
"Who is she?" She whispered.
"I am Courtney Andrews and who might you be?" She said, but I didn't miss the sound of annoyance in her tone. Alexis didn't catch that, though.
"I'm Alexis! Steven's neighbor! Nice to meet you, Courtney."
"Nice to meet you, too." She said with a roll of her eyes. Hmm, I'm starting to dislike her now. Why is she acting so...cold to Alexis? Alexis hasn't done anything to her. To try to get that off my mind I asked Alexis,
"Hey, Alexis? Do you want a sandwich?"
"Yes, please!"
I went into the kitchen to make a sandwich for Alexis. Alexis is charming. They should be able to get along by the time I go back. Right?

Alexis POV
I saw Stevey go to the kitchen leaving me with the woman Courtney, I remember her name was. She kind of looked kind of like me but in older version.
I'm still cuter though. Her nasty attitude makes her ugly. She's so mean to me.
When Stevey had gone to the kitchen she stood up making me look like one of those Oompa-Loompas from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory due to those cement blocks she was wearing. She walked towards me and I held my chin up showing that I wasn't afraid of her.
"Look," she sneered, "Steven and I have just barely met each other in person and I've grown to already love him for how handsome he is."
Ew. Smoochy adults.
