There was this girl. She looked about 13-14. She always came to our town, searching, searching hard, for something that seemed important to her. Nobody really knew anything about her, except that she always had a white medium-sized dress on,and light blonde hair. Every time she came everyone would hide from her. It was rainy season on the year of 1981. She came again. "Don't go out there!" my good friend Makayla would say to me. I was really curious to know about this girl, but everyone would pull me back. I would always think "Why does everyone seem so afraid? She looks harmless. Is she some witch? Is she magical? What was she always searching for?" I was really curious to find out. One day I finally got enough guts. No one will pull me back from finding this girl out. I didn't care anymore. I slipped my raincoat on and some rain boots. I put each foot in the thick mud. I tried to stay as quiet as possible so I wouldn't scare her. I finally got close enough so my hand could reach out and touch her shoulder. I reached out my hand with a nervous look on my face while biting my bottom lip hoping she wouldn't get scared and run off. My hand got a little closer but before I could touch her,her head turned around quickly. I got a little startled and pulled my hand back. I got on my knees. She looked at me with her eyes wide. Her eyes were a beautiful yet odd and unnatural color. I couldn't really make out the color even after all the colors I've seen. I never seen this color before,I didn't worry about it,I started focusing again. "Hello, whats your name?" I asked with a quiet voice. "I think it is Blue Rose. But I'm not sure if it is my real name or not. All I remember is that as a kid, everyone called me Blue Rose. Not sure if it is my real name." She told me while looking at the mud on her hands. "Blue Rose, huh? That's beautiful." I said with a smile. "Its not my name. Don't call me that." She said a little irritated. "Sorry." I said while looking at the mud. "What's your name?" she asked. "Christene." I told her while placing my hand in the center of my chest. "Mmhm. Follow me." she told me. "Oh! We almost forgot to shake." "Shake?" I said with a slanted eyebrow. "Yes. Shake." she said while holding her muddy hand out. I held my hand out and she took my hand and shook it. "Yes,now we shall go." She lead me to the entry of the forest she always came out of. I followed her deeper and deeper. She suddenly stopped and stared as a cool breeze blew her hair and dress. She kept going. I kept following her. She suddenly stopped again and looked over her shoulder to see if I was still there. She motioned me to stand next to her. I stood next to her. "One more step." she said. She pushed away some vines in the way. I was in awe as soon as I saw it. She sat on a slanted rock. I looked down and saw a big flower patch. There was this flower I couldn't get my eyes off of. My eyes glowed in the beauty of the flower. The flower was a light cyan with glowing light blue bulbs in the middle though of an angler fish. I poked the flower and it closed up. I sighed. "Why did I have to touch? Stupid me." I thought. The next flower I saw was a dark magenta. It had lots of petals circling the white middle. My eyes lit up to the second beauty. "I never seen these types of flowers before. Are they rare?" I thought. I looked over to my shoulder to see the girl looking at her hand. Her right hand was covering something. She lifted her cupped right hand. A daisy slowly popped out of the girls hand. The daisy was a sky blue with its usual sunshine-colored center. Thoughts raced through my head. "Did she make that herself? Did she pick it from the patch?" I looked at the patch and didn't see a single daisy. Suddenly I felt cool air across my face. I looked to my right to see a colorful humming bird. Its wings were beating the air pretty fast. About 100 times a second,at least. The humming bird flew over to the girl. "Oh,hello." she said with a beautiful smile. She spoke to the bird as if the bird was responding to her. Maybe it was. Maybe it wasn't. The time flew by,it was already night time. I shivered a bit then hugged myself to get some warmth. The girl looked up at me. "You must be cold. We should get you home." she said with a soft and sweet voice. She led me back out the forest with her arm around my shoulder. I walked out further out of the forest still hugging myself. I looked up to see my mom and sister with flashlights calling my name. "They're looking for you." she told me. I walked out further. "Christene! Where have you been?! Me and mom have been searching all over for you!" my sister Rachael said while putting one hand on my left shoulder. "I forgot to say goodbye." I thought. I turned around to where the forest was. "Goo-" I stopped. She disappeared into the night. Where could she have gone? Back in the forest? I kept staring while exhaling cold breaths. I felt a grab to my shoulder. "Christene Alrae Rogers!" my mom yelled. "Do tell me. Where have you been?! You could've gotten kidnapped! Child! I'm just glad your safe, honey." my mom said. They led me to the house. We didn't have that much money. We only had a one story house with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms with a kitchen and living room. My mom handed me my dinner she saved from when I was gone. "Thanks." I told mom. "Mmhm." she replied. My mom would always go to bed early because of her job. She usually had to wake up at 9:30 or so. After I ate dinner I took a shower and went to bed. The next day was a typical day. Everyone hanging out with their friends. Me staying inside the house working on art. But one thing,I kept thinking about the girl. I ignored that thought. I thought it could've just been a dream or a figment of my imagination. Or was it all real? I sort of denied it being real because the flowers of yesterday and that colorful hummingbird. I never seen anything like it. So I deny it because I never seen it? That's like denying Donkey Kong,he's a gorilla isn't he? Just because he is a fictional type of gorilla, doesn't mean I have to deny him. Anyway I couldn't get the girl out of my mind. I want to visit the forest again just to see if the forest is real. If it is then the girl is real,so is the humming bird. I covered up my painting with a velvet cloth and put my jacket and some sneakers on. I also brought a notepad just in case I feel like writing anything down. I told my sister I was going out and she said it was okay. I ran outside and checked behind me to make sure no one was following me. I looked at the ground to see a trail,it was glittery. I followed the trail deep into the forest and I heard a soft voice singing. The voice was singing in a different language. I couldn't make out the language. As I walked deeper into the forest the voice sounded like two girls singing. There was only two words I could understand. Those words were "Forced Amnesia". That baffled me. I pushed some vines out the way and peeked through. I saw two girls dancing peacefully. It was the girl, and another girl that looked exactly like her. I looked a little closer. Different eye colors. I was a tad scared. Who was this other girl? Are they twins? What language is that? Where are they from? Why are those eye colors so unnatural? I had so many questions, but I didn't want to interrupt because knowing me I would think the world will explode or something if I interrupted their dance. Finally they finished but something very unusual happened. The two bodies fused making one. Not something like a flat worm fusing with its mate with two heads and all that, but the body made one person. The person looked like the girl. Not-noticeable features changed. She sat on the slanted rock again. My eyes were just like "WOW. What just happened?" I slowly walked past the vines, staring at the girl like she was an angel. "Christene. Hello." she said with a small wave. I didn't say hello back I just stared at her, again, like she was an angel. "Christene?" she asked with concern. I kept staring. She giggled and held out her hand and blew a powder like substance in my face. It was light blue with a touch sparkle to it. It made me snap out of it. "Hm? Oh,hey. I saw that little thing you did. What was it?" I asked. She stared at me like she was about to cry. But she didn't. "Nothing its classified. Wait, why were you watching?" she asked with a confused look on her face. "I wanted to,well,it was something like,I wanted to make sure you were real." I responded. I looked down at the ground to see the beautiful flowers once again. She looked at me and went into the forest, past the flowers, past the flowers. Was she mad at me? I was more confused than I have ever been, but I figured I should leave her alone. But I stayed to watch a few more minutes. After she disappeared in the forest,I saw a tree fall down and rocks fly up into the air. Was that the girl doing all of that? She probably is magical. I don't know yet. I wrote a few things in my notepad. 1.This forest has a big flower patch with beautiful, yet sensitive flowers.
2.This girl that has been coming to our town MAYBE has a twin.
3.What do the rest of these lyrics mean?
I don't really know if this girl is magical or has a twin but its worth a guess. After all the smashing and crashing I walked out of the forest. I had the words "Forced Amnesia" stuck in my head. My mind was dying to find an answer. But how? How was I supposed to find an answer? The girl is mysterious and she is probably angry. Sure enough she wouldn't tell me anything. Later that night I couldn't sleep because of the thoughts running in my head. Eventually I did fall asleep but had the strangest dream. My dream had told me something. It probably told me some of the words meanings in that song. The first line was "Forced amnesia epiphany won't wee ya" the next one was "Please remember everything before I'm dead" and the last one was "I took your memories" my dream replayed the dancing and the two twins. I woke up with my eyes wide. I thought to myself, What could those strange lyrics mean? Who's memories have been taken away? Forced amnesia? Huh? What? While I was working on my painting all I could think about was those strange lyrics. Eventually my mind stopped my other painting and my sub-conscious told me to start a new painting. My head kept saying to paint this strange image. Something I never would have thought of. Finally my painting was done. I didn't exactly know what it was. I looked at it closely. What is this? Some kind of galaxy? I squinted trying to figure this out,it was very hard to recognize but I knew I saw this somewhere probably in past lives. Maybe the girl was from the past. I decided to forget about that and just continue normal life. I will think more about it tomorrow. At dinner I tried to get those thoughts out of my head. I just couldn't fight it. Later that night after a quick shower I laid in my bed with my window open. The moonlight shined down on me. I had a second, still strange dream. This time the twins were glowing and dancing. My mind replayed a statement that one of the twins COULD'VE said. "Wait I thought she'd forget." What could these dreams mean? The next morning I decided to go back to the forest to see the girl,if she was there. I once again followed the trail and pulled back some vines. The girl was sitting on the slanted rock once again. It appeared she was talking to someone. "She's been tossing and turning all night in her bead. I hope she's trying to remember the things I've said." the girl said with a little worried tone in her voice. My eyes widened,I leaned in to hear better. "Just hoping she remembers." she said while putting her hands on her forehead. What? Who is she talking about? Me? Some other person? Then another thought ran through my mind. What was she looking for in the mud? Could it be something from the past? I went back into town and went into my house and stood by the window. I was looking outside to see if the girl is coming to look for something. "AH! Run! Its her!" people screamed as they all hid in their houses and shops. The girl knelt and once again put her hands in the mud. I walked out there and knelt beside her. She kept digging and finally hit something she pulled it out the dirt. It was a necklace with a turquoise gem in it. All of a sudden a felt a wind behind me and then everything went black. It was like I was inside my mind,I don't know how to explain it. It was completely black. Then these pictures came out of nowhere. They were huge in the black scenery. They looked like memories from the past. I saw this one like no other. I looked like the girl except with black hair and red eyes. I was in a black dress. Was I evil? The girl appeared behind me which scared me. "Explain, please." I asked. "I took your memories. It was for your own good. You were evil in past lives. I had to. I'm sorry, you were going to do something really bad so I had to "shut you down". So you became human and started new." the girl told me. I stared at her like I was about to cry. I did. "Does my mom and sister know about this?" I said sobbing. "They do,but they had to keep secret and play along. You know, being afraid of me...." she told me. I continued crying and then yelled "I'm sorry!" Everything started spinning and then reality came back. The girl was gone. Everyone was hiding. What just happened? I thought. I didn't know myself anymore. I'm not human? I'm like the girl. But how? When? Why?
I never figured this out. Now I'm an adult and I still haven't figured it out. The girl "died" a few years ago. By died I mean she went back to where she was from. She wasn't part of Earth. I wonder what will happen to me when I die.
