A short story about my mum

My mum

We weren't always close. In fact I was mad at her. Why? Because I thought she wasn't my hero when she really is. What do I mean hero? Why be mad at something that should mean anything? I was molested for 10 years by 5 different guys. Yes, I said something and put 3 of them in prison where they belong. I always thought I gave her hints to save me. But I saved myself. Oh but who was by my side every step of the way? My mum. You may think that me being mad at her for not being my hero is stupid. But to me it means everything. 

I've never liked the superhero movies, they were never accurate. I also thought there stupid. Why make a movie of someone being able to use a shield to save people? To me a hero was everything. A hero was someone who was there for you every step of the way. A person who felt what you felt even though they didn't go threw exactly what you did. A hero is someone who comes into your life and saves you from something. For me my hero gave birth to me. Yes I believe you can have multiple hero's. In fact I have another "hero". His name is noodle. Or that's what I call him. He came into my life unexpectedly and he's gone threw somethings that I've gone threw. He's just my friend but he's shown me I'm not alone. He's someone I can talk to when my mum's busy or I just want to talk he's there. But I'm not writing this to talk about him.

My mum was there. She supports my decisions even if there stupid. It's not everyday you get to meet a mum and daughter that are close. There actually rare now a days.

There's two lessons here. The first one being is everyone has at least one hero. You yourself are your own hero and your own villain. But the second was to show you this world isn't completely wasted. There's still hope we just need to save our world without using technology. My mum is everything to me. She is my bestfriend, my hero, my mum, and my dad. She means the world to me. I would give up everything for her. .
