Back in 1776 Elizabeth Schuyler and Alexander Hamilton were married but Alexander was busy with running for president to free slaves and for our country to be full of freedom. Elizabeth never saw Alexander that often...He often came home late and stayed in his studies writing some unknown letters to either Thomas Jefferson or Aaron Burr. But as she thought that's who the letters were going too. Alexander then came home late again to hear his dear wife crying and whimpering, He went to go see what was wrong but she immediately turned around her eyes filled with tears and she glared at him. He looked at his dear wife with worry..but then she held up letters she found saying "To dearest, Angelica". His mouth parted as he tried to explain himself, But she didn't listen she refused to listen. She then said "I saved every letter you wrote me, I thought you were mine?" He tried to step towards his dear wife but she quickly turned around holding up a finger saying "Don't take another step near me, I don't know you.." He now felt heartbroken and lost.
Elizabeth schuyler & Alexander hamilton had an affair, Eliza was devastated and stayed at home with her child "Philip Hamilton". She had burned all the letters he had wrote to her when he actually loved her. But as she thought he had another affair with Maria Reynolds..But this time he was caught by James Reynolds (Maria's husband that she lied about doing her wrong), James Reynolds demanded to be paid off to keep quiet. And so he did, He wrote to James Reynolds to keep quiet so his dear Eliza from knowing but it was to late she already found out because he then wrote about it which shocked everyone for a 3rd time.
(Yeah I know this is short but I'm looking up the history on how this happened. I went to go see the musical see yesterday and I loved it! I really liked it! I suggest all of you go see it too!)
