Chapter 2
I sat down and spread the butter and jam on all of my 4 pancakes. My brother looked up from his plate and another surprised look was plastered on his face.
"What?" I asked out of curiosity as there was still a mouthful of pancakes inside my mouth. "Nothing, just shocked to see your face in this time of the day." He said as he brought up his fork with pancakes to his mouth.
My dad just laughed quietly as he witnessed what just had happened between Liam and I. "Hey Sugarplum, Liam and I are gonna go to the mall around 3 in the afternoon, Do you want anything from the mall or would you like to come with us" Dad said while he looked at me through his reading glasses. "Dad! I don't want her to come with us. You said, it'll just be us boys!" Liam said with an annoyed tone.
I shook my head and chuckled "Don't worry I won't come with you guys to the mall. Mom and I are gonna be quite busy today as well..We're gonna go grocery shopping to fill up the fridge again." I replied. "Good thing." Liam said with a smirk plastered on his face.
