Into the shadows

Chapter 1

     Pandora was a boring and old town one that you couldn't really count on to get anything good like a target or even a Walmart all we have is a dollar general and some 99 cent store, a town that me and my friends were tired of and wanted to get out but the only person who had a car out of us was Edward and he couldn't use unless he was going from school and back which left us with bikes and a skateboard. Walking up to the small high school i was almost ran over by some rich girls hot pink jeep who looked like she is great service to the whole football team, speaking of team i was apart of the soccer team well captain as of now since the old captain disappeared one day "Hey Drew!" turning around Crow stood his half-shaved head popping up before his face as he finished putting on the white hoodie "Good morning to you too shirtless goth freak" Crow's laugh was crusty and hoarse sounding maybe because he smokes a lot but i wouldn't blame him, his parents died when he was 8 and he has gone through fosters homes like crazy trying to find one that would at least keep him for a month and well his love life was no better than mine at this state most of the girls he had killed themselves because of his music "Xavier! i didn't even see you there" Xavier was older but he sure was short "like always" the conversation ended with us meeting up with Edward who had to shoo away some blonde anorexia girl who wore way too much makeup "Sup guys, you get my text?" Crow raised an eyebrow pulling out a shattered phone swiping through it "No what did you send Richie?" Edward hated being called Richie mostly because it was his childhood name that his father gave to him after he got his first hundred-dollar bill "I sent in some outfits that we could get next since our old robes got all dirty from our last.....time" yep you might of guessed it but we have a cult one that kills bullies,people who deserve to die, and really anybody who looks wrong at us and Edward was all about the robes, he once got us robes that golden linings but Crow said it didn't look dark or mysterious so he had to take them back sadly "The bell has rung boys get to class" the old fart known as the      principal didn't have a family or a wife thankfully because that was our next victim. My first class was math, math was my best subject mostly because i had to do most of the bills in the house because my mom was working 24/7 night after night, one night when i was 14 i stayed up all night waiting for dinner but my mom never came home until 5 A.M., that night i realized that i need to stop counting on my mom to help me my entire life and start fending for myself. Once math ended i met up with Xavier who had a new black eye and cut lip "You get beat up again?" my question was plain because this has happen almost everyday, Xavier was transgender and of course bullies went straight for him when they found out leaving us to save him, his parents also didn't want him so they dropped him off here and Crow let him live with him "Hey! weirdos!" great... the bullies of the school "What do you want Cade?" he was a head taller than me and wore rich kid clothes like Edward but at least Edward didn't talk you down like you were trash "Hey hey i'm talking to trans boy here not you sl-" before Cade could even think of what he was gonna call me Crow had already knocked his jaw to outer space.
