Al-Baqara (2:45)

وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ

"WaistaAAeenoo bialssabri waalssalati wainnaha lakabeeratun illa AAala alkhashiAAeena"

Humna read verse number 45 of surah baqarah and proceeded ahead with the translation

"Seek help in patience and prayer; and truly it is hard save for the humble-minded"

When she heard the knock at the door, closing Quran and keeping it in the shelf she moved towards the door.

She didn't opened the door immediately, waited for an another knock and then enquired for the person.

"Open the door you silly girl, it is me." Humna heard Abdul Rahman.

Upon opening the door, she felt disgusted finding him in old rags and heavy bruises all over her face.

He had returned after three days. Though His absence had frightened her initially but with patience she accepted the fate and planned to go with the flow. Surviving on the food he last brought and water she filled with the help of Fiza from the near by lane.
That too All in this three days, Fiza came to meet her ones when she asked her about the water where as she didn't saw her mother in law even for ones.

She spent the time reading Quran and wondering over her life affairs. Often thinking about her family and doubting whether His Husband would ever return to him any sooner?
She even prayed for him in her salahs.
Alhamdulillah after 3 days he is back but with more disgust.

He smelled horrible and almost nil to stand of his legs.

Pushing her aside, he entered and ran to the cot.

After hours when he woke up by hearing aloud recitation of quran by Humna, he stood and run his eyes over the room.
She was sitting on the piece of cloth in the corner of the room, Rehan could clearly see the freshness on her face, her eyelashes were dipped in the sprinkled water. She caught her reciting beautifully while wiping off the water with the help of her sleeves.

He wasn't having any intention to interrupt her as her voice was soothing his soul unacceptably, but he couldn't control,
"why are you crying?" He ended up asking.

Humna raised her head then bowed down again, completed the verse she was reading and then closed the quran. Keeping it aside she replied, "I was wiping off the water of ablution."
