Rain beat down on the large glass window as pen scratched on paper. Ripped up pieces of paper laid on the floor in young Aldrich's office. shelf's high above , on all sides. full of books of many sorts. a sudden knock hit the window, thunder roaring as he stood dropping his pen and note pad his shaky hands grabbing the candle, the only source of light other then his small lamp that illuminated only half of his wooden desk. his dark shoes walked the dusty red carpet to the window. His dark eyes falling deeper and deeper into the outside. Trees blowing in every witch direction, he stopped. not out of fear, nor curiosity. but of force. Aldrich's eyes twitched as his hand gripped the candles holder tightly. he continued to stare, until he saw it. the candle blew out, a screech escaping his plumped dry lips. it all fell silent. too silent.
"h-hello? whatever this is. please- i don't want to live this anymore, at least not like this.. what could you possibly want from me. i have nothing more to give"
He pleaded, he know what it twas, but would never dare speak of it. or her. books flew off of the shelf's, his lamp light shattering into pieces. Now there wasn't any turning back. he was stuck in this loop over and over. but. Would so often get different answers. he searched for his matches that rested in his trousers. Quickly pulling them out as he lit one ,shakily lighting his candle back up, gulping down his tears.
"you left me.. you left me hear to die. to drown in my own sorrow.."
The voice was all too familiar. Her weeping cries filled his ears, his heart sinking. she spoke. but wasn't seen. one by one, other books flew off the shelf's. picture frames breaking all around him. an echoing whisper filled the very large office. water dripping as a foot stepped in front of him. her veins grey and black, her feet as white as snow. he cold feel the coldness radiating off of her.
"no.. no no. i-i didn't leave you. i was.. was only merely gone for. for work."
he swallowed.
"but you never came back. did you? no. you NEVER came back. you left me, and you knew it."
her voice deepened, deeper then a wolfs growl. her neck cracking as she bent her back, screaming at full force, causing Aldrich to cover his ears, screaming in pain.
he shook, his arms tense.
"wake up."
"sir.. it's time to wake up"..
