Shadow of the Colossus

Prologue

The beautiful landscapes of this world..... I have seen many. And the stories I know are like none you have ever heard. So, you wish to hear one of my stories? Well then, I shall tell you the tale of the legendary Colossi, and the Wanderer. Long ago, when man was new to the world, there existed a majestic race of beings called the Colossi. These beings, who were worshipped as gods by the humans, took on many forms, just about anything you could think of. We coexisted in.harmony for millennia, until He arrived. He killed all of the Colossi, and for doing so, his spirit was sealed in a shrine, in a desolate land, which we now know as the Forbidden Lands. Legend says that even some of the Colossi still exist in these grounds, but as some were converted to His side, no one trusts them anymore. Only the foolish dared trespass on this place, as other tale told of a wish granting being or other such nonsense. There are some truths to these, but what I am about to tell you, is the true story of the Forbidden Lands. We shall focus on a particular adventurer, about the age of eighteen, and his quest to save his lover from the cold grip of death.
