They tell us not to be different.
They tell us not to be strange.
They tell us all to be normal.
They teach us to be tame.

They tell us not to be weird.
They tell us not to be loud.
But every one of those things
Makes me very proud.

So what if I'm different?
So what if I'm strange?
What truly is normal?
How can a human be tamed?

Why am I "weird"?
Who cares if I'm loud?
You know, I couldn't care less.
And for that, I am proud.

I am unique.
Of me, there is only one.
So why be "normal"?
How is that fun?
