JENNIE'S POV

I took in a deep breath as I stepped out of the crowded airport. I had arrived in Japan, taking a solo vacation without my members. I started walking to the Uber pick-up station but I crashed into something before I could get there. When I tried to get up, I felt softness and realized I had crashed into a person. I got up and held out my hand to help him.

"Are you alright?" A deep voice called above me.

"Yeah," I said, brushing off my skirt as I stood up. I surveyed the man in front of me.

"What's your name?" He asked.

"I'm Jennie. What about you?"

"Uehara. Nice to meet you." I nodded and smiled. I started to walk off but Uehara grabbed my arm. "Could I have your number?" Normally I'd be careful about giving my number out to strangers, but he seemed kind, and if anything went wrong, I could report him to YG. 

"Sure." I obliged. I typed in the numbers on his phone.

"Thank you! I'll make sure to stay in touch." I slipped my phone into my back pocket and called an Uber. 

LATER THAT DAY:

I sat in bed fiddling with my phone. It seemed lonely without my members, I missed Jisoo's aegyo, Rosé's singing, and Lisa's goofiness. But I convinced myself I could get through this by myself. My spirits were lifted when I heard a light 'ding' come from my messages. I quickly went to see who it was from and saw it was Uehara. I made a contact for him. (In Korean so it would be easier) 

'Hey.' 

'Hi,' I bit my lip, anxious for a response.

'Can you meet me at the park on Cherry Road at 12 tomorrow?' (A/N I completely made that up lol) I pondered his question. Did I want to go? Since I had nothing to do, I answered,

'See you there.'
