Chapter One

"You'd think they'd have more to do than sit here and stare at us."
"Carson I swear on everything you love..."
"Oh really, what are you going to do?"
"I'll show you what I'll-"
"Both of shut it! I swear you're worse than kids. Carson if you're bored keep it to yourself; Deon everyone is running on 10 we don't need you flaming out making everything worse. Sit here quietly if you can't speak nice."
Deon looked at Carson as if to say, 'what's her problem?' While Carson just shrugged in response.
"Hey Jay are you okay? You do know nothings going to happen to us right? I mean besides dying of boredom."
Before she could answer the doors open and the guards stand to speak to the man that walked in.
The new man breaks the huddle first coming over to the bench the three are sitting on.
"Hello, I apologize for the delay the council was having disagreements on where to place you all. If you'll follow me I'll escort you in."
As Deon and Carson stand Jay walks in front of them with her hands crossed. Firmly she states, "No offense, I'm sure you're real trust worthy. With your nice and shiny shoes and flowy blonde hair and all, but we're not in the habit of following people who don't even have to manners to state their name."
The blonde man looks taken aback, then smiled wide and says, "Forgive me, my name is Mr. Conan Tudar. I am the wizard world representative and a very big fan of you and yours. I mean no ill will. I only mean to help you understand what is happening and help you transition to this new world in the best means possible."
Mr. Tudar places his left hand over his right holding them palm down in front of his body. Jay studies him for a minute seemingly trying to decide if he is trustworthy or not. With one final look she steps to her right allowing Carson to fall to her left, and Deon her right. Mr. Tudar takes the hint and with a simple nod says, "Good, follow me then."
