Chapter 11

After I said that no one said a word, they all looked at each other. "Prove it" James said, and so without saying a world I turn to Jackson, 'Jackson you see the book self that's to the right of me, I want you to bring me five books, one book from each shelf. Set them in front of me in alphabetical order.' Once I was finished Jackson looked at the brown floor to ceiling bookshelf and picked five books at random, one from each shelf like I had asked. When he was done I turn to James, "do you need more proof?" James jumps up "that doesn't prove anything for all we know you guys have something like this planned." As he finishes talking he walks to the desk and gets a pen and paper and writes something on the paper and holds it in half. "Jackson would you mind standing behind the desk and facing the wall for just a minute," then he turns and walks to me, "I want you to tell Jackson to do what I have written on this paper, without saying a single word, and would you mind turning your back to Jackson as well." Once he finishes he goes back to stand near the chair he was sitting on not so long ago. As I do what he asks I look at the paper as mind link Jackson 'Jackson I want you to turn around face James and levitate the chair he is standing near. I want you to move it over his head while making it do a back flip to his other side.' Once I finish I turn around and watch as he levitates the chair then makes it do a back flip over James' head.

"Damn they weren't lying when they said they could mind link each other in human form!" James all but shouts in glee, while Ryan just looks lost in thought. "If your old pack doesn't know that you guys have these gifts then why would you bring trouble to my pack?" Ryan asks me. "Think about it for a sec, what was the reason any of us" and I move my hand to emphasis me and the pups "were born? What is the purpose that we have for being on this earth?" As I finish saying this they all looked at each other and then they really started to think. "EVIL!" Roger shouts, making Cecile jump and starling Ryan and James. "Why are you shouting evil for?" James asks while Ryan seems to get why. "Because, Jackson and the rest of the pups where born so that on their 13th birthday they could be handed to evil itself, so that their birth parents could gain even more power." Ryan states while looking at us. As James process what he just heard I can see Cecile near tears. "Who would actually do this to their own children, and for power within the pack at that?" She says as James hugs her to try and calm her down. "Is that it? Is your parents our biggest worry?" Ryan asks me but when he sees my face he adds "its not, is it?"

"Like I said, our parents have high positions within the pack. So that means that they can influence the alpha and beta and when they tell them that we are gone and that because we are gone that puts the pack is in danger."

"They will come after you." Ryan finishes for me. As I nod you can see the fear and worry that enters their eyes

"Like I said, you mite not want us in your pack and if you don't we understand and we will leave to keep your pack safe." Before I can even finish this I can see that all their heads are shaking no. "Like I told you before you started on your history, nothing going to change my mind about you joining the pack but then again that's just my opinion." As he says this he looks around at the beta, omega and beta's mate and I see them all nod their head. "We would love it if you join the pack," Cecile says. "Yea let your old pack try and take you away." James adds. "Yea we aren't the most feared pack for nothing." Roger finishes.

As I hear them say this I can't help the tears that come to my eyes, "you guys don't know how much this means to me. Before we came here I had never been shown this kind of respect by anyone other than my siblings. To know that you guys are willing to go to war over us warms my heart and brings tears of joy to my eyes." "Your days of being treated like a slave and other things are over, here in this pack you guys will be treated like one of us. You will of course be expected to pull your own weight like you have been doing and now that you're going to be members, you guys can start training with us." Ryan tells us.

"Of course and we will also hone our gifts so that when the time comes we can help protect our new pack from harm and from our old pack as well." I add.

"I alpha Ryan of the Dark Shadow Pack, extend an invitation to Selena, Jackson, Manuel, Michael, Sissy and Brandon, siblings and friends to join my pack as members from today until they wish to leave."

"I Selena guardian of Jackson, Manuel, Michael, Sissy and Brandon my younger siblings accept with their consent to join the Dark Shadow Pack from today until we wish to leave." As I finish this I can fell my head get full of the pack. I can feel the connections being made. 'Ryan?' I say in my mind.

"What" he answers out loud. 'James?' "What the hell was that?" he asks all startled. 'Roger?' As I call his name he just looks at me with a curious expression. 'Cecile?' And she like James jumps but doesn't say a word. "Now that we have joined your pack Brandon has accepted you guys as part of our family so you guys are now able to talk to each other thru mind link and us as well. "Can every member of the pack do this?" Ryan questions. "No only you guys can."
