A girl, around the age of sixteen,

sat quietly, nice and clean.

Her swing swished back and forth,

never one to slouch of course.

Head held high,

ignorance low,

as her innocence was said to grow.

June was her name,

and not once questioned if she wasn't sane.

A girl, around the age of sixteen,

laughed loudly, a bit unclean.

Her swing rocked violently,

as she sat not-so-silently.

Head held high,

ignorance low,

not as out going as she liked to show.

May was her name,

and everyone questioned if she were sane.

May and June, June and May. There friendship was said to never end.

June secretly hated May. For May was loud and beautiful.

May secretly hated June, for she were nice and perfect.

Why couldn't May be the innocent lovable one?

Why couldn't June be the friendly outgoing one?

May said to June 'Your too perfect.'

June said to May 'Your too friendly.'

And they vowed that they would never be friends again.

And as May hated June, and June hated May, April and July had some good times.
