All the theories and assumptions about the world and the universe are just theories and assumptions about the universe. There's always more to the picture than its parts, break down a clock and you have microchips, plastic, and stainless steel casings and then put it back together and you have an amazing machine, that's been used to tell time count the hours and the days of physical motion. Like pennies, dimes, nickels and quarters amount to dollars. Just like rapacity and apathy is fitted for a man in Machiavellian politics but amounts to heresy in Locke's demand for a scarcity of unscrupulous sculptures that amount to a human. Once, I saw poverty begging for money. A man laying on the ground with a plastic bag, a fur coat and an empty cup drained of water. If I could convert all those averted eyes to money than I could fill that cup with enough to give him the necessities, but much like those people passing him on the street with shopping bags, and wallets clutched in their hands to avoid the man's demand for money, I couldn't look at the man, his tearing clothes, and his struggling hands because I couldn't bear to imagine or to wonder how difficult it might be and no matter the journey he took to get there, how inhumane humans could be, but I do believe that a 5 dollar bill made a difference in this man's life and as cynical as the world has made you if you look at the whole picture you'll see people lining up, and searching for the slightest change in their pockets to give to this stranger in need.
