Love Redemption

Chapter 1

Today is our 8th year anniversary, and I could not be any more excited. For eight years, I'm happy to say that I'm still in love and with the man of my dreams. Many people doubted our love for each other because they said we were too young or that one day we would just grow apart because we would become two different people gravatating towards different things in life, but isn't that how life works? You grow apart only to come back together and be stronger than you were before.

I looked at the time it was now nine thirty. I had already got the kids into bed for tonight. I went to go check on them again and boy was they growing. Amora was now evelen and Nayomi was now seven. While giving birth I had lost the other twin, do to the umbilical cord being wrapped around his neck. It was a very heart breaking moment but I knew I still had to be strong for my daughters and my husband. Jayden and I really don't talk about it or really at all. Anytime I brought it up he just dismissed it, even when I wanted us to go to therapy he refused and suggest we didn't need it.

Hearing the front door unlock, I close the girls door quickly and went downstairs to greet Jayden.

"Hey baby, how was your day at work?"

"It was good, wish I could have came home alot sooner, but you know we just got these new investors so its going to require alot more of my time now."

He walked over and gave me a quick peck and started to walk up the stairs. I really can't believe this is happening. He didn't remeber what today was?

"Jayden are your serious right now?

"What Kayce? I have a long day a work and I'm really not in the mood to argue with you tonight."

I looked at him as if he had three heads growing out his body, he had me all the way fucked up.

"Today is our anniversary and you forgot, I'm so sick of this shit! You been treating me so different for the past couple of months sometimes you barely even look at me I can't believe!!"

He was about to say something else but I just went past him and went into our bedroom, I took the extra blankets and pillows out the closet. As soons as I open the room door he was standing there I threw the blanket and pillow at him and closed the door.

"Kayce baby please, open the door I'm sorry baby"

I ignored him and cried myself to sleep. The next morning I got up and got the kids. It was Saturday, the girls and I usually would just spend time together and go out on little dates. Sometimes my good friend Liyah would come tag along with her daughter. Today it was just going to be me and my girls hanging out.

"Goodmorning mommy" I looked at her she was adorable, she had just lost her front two teeth so when she said something it always sound a little funny, so I always caught myself laughing when she talked.

"Goodmorning, Nayomi I love you my pretty girl"

"I lub you to mommy"

Hearing a voice behind me laughing I knew it was Jayden. I rolled my eyes and went downstairs to make breakfast. We all sat athe table and ate while the girls was telling us about how their day was at school yesterday on Friday. I love moments like this even though we argue alot when we are in front of the girls we never made it known.

"Daddy can you please spend today with us?" Amora tried to give him the little puppy dog face and of course he failed for it.

"Yes, daddy spending time with all his girls"

"Yaaayy" both of the girls screamed.

"Okay girls get ready so I can do you guys hair so we can get moving!"

They both left the table leaving me and Jayden at the table alone. I got up from the table and picked up the dishes and went to the sink to wash them. I felt a pair of arms around me and then kisses on my neck.

Sighing " Jayden I know what your trying to do and I really hope you don't think this makes up for our anniversary that you forgot"

He kept kissing on my neck trying to slide his hand under my night gown but I quickly turn around. We was now face to face and he leaned his forehead against mines.

"Kayce, I'm sorry please just let me make it up to you tonight and hang with you and the girls today"

"Jayden you really can't make up for that but I'm not going to deny spending family time together, so let me go get dress."

He removed his hands from waist and I went up stairs. I was about to go to the shower until I heard a phone vibrating on the dresser. I went to go check.

Mia: "Are you coming over again tonight?"
Looking up from the phone he was standing there with the door shut.

"What are you doing?"
