The next morning when I woke up I pulled on a black sweatshirt. I walked out into the living room and rubbed my eyes. Dad was standing at the stove making some eggs and sausages  I went and sat at the table.

"Good morning Cami. How'd you sleep?" He asked. I shrugged.

"Fine. Um. Toni wanted to hang out today, if that was okay?" I asked. Dad turned around with a big smile on his face.

"Really? Sure. That's fantastic actually because I have some business I need to deal with today." Dad said. I smiled and nodded.

"Yeah and Jughead and Finn are kind of friends at school so I'm sure he'd take him and Scarlett in for the day." I said. Dad nodded as he sat down next to me.

"Good. I might be out all day. I'm sorry, but it's a good thing to make friends right?" Dad asked. I nodded. Scarlett then walked in rubbing her eyes and yawning.

"Good morning Scarly." I sang. She groaned and sat next to dad.

"How do you feel about hanging out with Jughead today, run with the big boys?" Dad asked with a small chuckled. She shrugged while leaning her head on his arm. Dad looked at me with a smile.

I got ready quickly. Trying to find something to wear that would be cute enough and serpent enough. So I landed on a Black high waisted jean skirt that was slightly distressed. A black T-shirt that had some suede fringe on the sleeves. Then a pair of black high top converse and my serpent jacket with a pair of hoop earrings.

I waited in the trailer until Toni came. She showed up on her motorcycle. My dad escorted me out to her.

"You'll keep her safe right?" Dad asked. She nodded. "I'll meet you guys at whyte wyrm tonight." Dad said before giving me a hug. He waved to Toni before leaving.

"So let me see what you're wearing?" She asked. I took my jacket off to show her. She smiled wide and handed me a helmet. I slipped it on quick before getting on her motorcycle and we quickly drove off.

We drove up to a trailer and parked. I demounted the motorcycle and took off the helmet. I quickly fixed my hair. I then quickly jogged to meet up with Toni.

"So um where are we?" I asked while keeping close to her. I looked around being very careful to watch my step.

"You'll see." She said to me as we got the door. She flinged it open without even knocking. "Hello boys." She said as we walked in. All the loud talking and stopped. They all turned and looked at us. I looked over her shoulder to see Sweet Pea and all his friends.

"And who is this." Sweet Pea said leaning forward in his spot. My stomach dropped just seeing him, and in a good way.

"You all remember Cam, Hawkeye's daughter." Toni said with a smirk on her face. She stepped to the side and I stood the awkwardly. I waved with a small smile.

"Oh yeah. Jughead's Northside friend. What are you doing here on this side of the tracks?" Sweet Pea said while walking closer. I chuckled a little while crossing my arms.

"Well I am a serpent." I said while pulling my sleeve up. "And my parents are divorced and I'm with my dad this weekend." I explained. They all nodded.

"Now boys treat her like a lady and make some room for her." Toni said while waving up the boys next to Sweet Pea's spot. Sweet Pea sat in his spot and patted the one next to me. I slowly sat down and crossed my legs and arms.

"So why do you go to Northside high Cam?" Fangs asked. I chuckled and shook my head.

"Well I think it's pretty obvious why I go there. But um, I full time stay with my mom and when my parents got divorced they decided that they wanted us to get a good education. They made the deal that if I stayed with my mom, that we would become Serpents." I explained.

We all sat there talking for a while. Sweet Pea and I even exchanged some playful arm touches or punches. I giggled, smiled, and played with my hair more than I had in a while.

"You know what I'm hungry. Let's go get something to eat. You need a ride Cam?" Sweet Pea said while standing up. I looked up to him with a smile. I looked over at Toni quickly, she gave me a nod. Then looked back to Sweet Pea.

"Um yeah actually. And you can call me Cami." I said. He gave me his hand to help me up. I graciously accepted and stood up. We all went outside and I followed Sweet Pea to his bike. He got on a motioned for me to sit on the back.

"Do you perhaps by any chance have a helmet I could wear. If my dad saw me without one he'd kill me." I joked. He nodded. He walked over to the other Serpents to find one. Toni handed him one with a wink to him.

He hopped on the back of the bike and handed me the helmet. I slipped it on and wrapped my arms around his waist. I held on tightly. I laid my head on his back. I took a deep breath and he smelt so good.

When we got to the restaurant everyone walked in together. Sweet Pea led us all, and when we got to the door he let me in first. Then he came in everyone following.

Everyone got into boothes. I sat next to Toni, across from Sweet Pea. Sweet Pea was talking with his friends so Toni turned to me with a big smile.

"Oh my god. I never get like this. But he totally likes you Cami. He's barely even this kind to his own mother. I think you might be spending the night in Sweet Pea's bed tonight." She said with a wink.

I scoffed and gave her a playful punch in the arm. Sweet Pea turned back to us and looked at the menu.

"You know what Cami. I'd like to show you the good side of serpents. So order whatever you'd like, it's on me." Sweet Pea said with a half smile. One of his friends hit him in the arm.

"Thanks." I said quietly. "Um j actually have to use the ladies room real quick." I said while getting up. I walked to the bathroom with a big smile on my face that nothing could get rid of.

I looked at my phone to see Finn was giving me updates about what they were doing and it was so cute. Seeing Scarlett with Jughead having him with a big goofy grin on his face.

After everyone ate we decided to go back home. But Toni decided we were going back to Sweet Pea's trailer. So I got back on his motorcycle as we rode back. When we got back to his house the 3 of us walked in.

"Actually Jughead wanted me to come visit them and bring them something to eat since they all are either 10, or just boys. I'll come back later." Toni said. I almost went to stop her, but I didn't.
