Your mom knows how much you LOOOVE sleeping in. Unfortunately that's not what you are allowed to do on the first day of school.
"Y/N! WAKE UP! ITS TIME FOR SCHOOL!" She yells
"OKAY! OKAY MOM ALRIGHT!" You yell back at her while she stops banging her metal spoon on her pots.
"Jeez! Was that necessary?!" I ask in an annoyed tone.
"Well, you did tell me that the first day of school was sooo important to you since you need to find a group of whatever you were saying." She trails off.
"OH MY GOD! ITS THE FIRST DAY?" I yell at her. "OH MY GOD I NEED TO GET DRESSED!"
You bolt up the stairs and grab some basketball shorts with a sweatshirt on that you personally made yourself that has a whole world of exciting images on it.

You grab your skateboard and ride down the railing and jump off at the edge.
"Y/N! AND DONT FORGET TO- ALWAYS KEEP YOUR PHONE RINGER ON!" We said the last part in sync. From about all 1 million times she has reminded me.
"Yah mom I know!" I say back.
"Hey," my mom says waiting for me to look back.
"I love you y/n." She says.
"I love you too mom." You say back in a half whisper.
"Now go make more friends!" She chuckles as she tosses me my backpack and I go out the door. I wave to her riding the skateboard down the porch stairs by jumping. She waves back and I start riding away to school.
