"Children, come to the living room! We have a guest!" A voice which all the children in the building recognize made all of them gather in the living room as said, curious about the guest that Zhengting was talking about.

"Who is that, Ting-ge?" Quanzhe asks ever so quietly whilst hugging his hamster plushie as he was shy to see someone new.

"Perhaps, a new family member?" This time, it was Wenjun who questions the older, popping out behind the smaller boy who was hugging the plushie.

"That's right, Wenjun. We have a new friend that has arrived, let's give him a warm welcome!" Announced Zhengting flashing a warm smile at the new boy who avoided the older's gaze. "Go on, introduce yourself. Don't be shy, hm?"

"The name is Chengcheng... Fan Chengcheng." The new boy utters as he could feel many pairs of eyes staring at him. Some were avoiding him clearly feeling a bit intimidated, others didn't react much but most of them were beaming at him.

"Well then, Chengcheng, make yourself comfortable, alright? We are your new family, now. We are all here because we had reasons, including me. If anything's wrong just tell us." Chengcheng nods at Zhengting's words which made him chuckle.

"Oh, and you will be roommates with Justin— Hold on, where is Justin?" Everyone looks around searching for a certain boy named Justin until someone lifted his hand to speak.

"I heard Kunkun was going out to pick him up because he got into a fight with some other kids for bullying Quanzhe in the hallways," Xinchun says, making Zhengting let out an exhausted sigh. "That boy got into a fight again?" The children laughed at their guardian's comment.

"I'm homeee!" An extremely loud and enthusiastic voice was heard from a few miles away when suddenly, a young boy ran towards the front door.

"Justin, I told you not to run! You are completely beaten up, you might hurt yourself again!" Xukun says, he was out of breath, clearly exhausted when trying to catch up with the younger boy.

"I'm fine, Kunkun-ge! Stop worrying too much!" Both of them were surprised to see everyone gathered up in the living room.

"Huh? What's going on? Why are you all here?" Justin kept on asking questions, his eyes wandering around but then, he noticed someone he hasn't seen before. "Who is he, Ting-ge? Who are you? A new family member? Nice to meet you, I'm Justin!"

That was the first time Chencheng saw someone who was covered in so many cuts, dirt, and bruises. Justin looked horrible yet was still able to grin from ear to ear brightly at their new family member. Chengcheng shook hands with the other boy, without noticing, his lips curled into a small smile.

"Welcome to Yuehua orphanage, Chengcheng!"

That's how everything started.
