It's Summertime and Valery is finally done with high school. She plans on going to college in the fall, and she plans to relax a little this summer before then.
She lives in Seattle, Washington and her house has the perfect veiw of the Space Needle.
But, Valery had no idea her future was about to be flipped upside down.

Valery's P.O.V.
The fortune cookie's message read: "In the near future, you will meet the person you look up to." I thought breifly about it then I slipped it into my pocket, shrugging it off that I got the same fortune for the third time in a row. It was nothing. But deep down inside of me I had a feeling that lifted my spirits and made me excited. I couldn't help the thought that my dreams would come true. I smiled.
"Did you get a nice fortune?" My friend asked me, noticing the smile on my face.
"Yeah." I looked up and met Kenslie's eyes. "But it won't happen." I said, the hope fading from my eyes.
"Who knows? Maybe it will." Kenslie smiled and walked with me out of the restaurant.
Elijah's (Sketch's) P.O.V
"In the near future, you will find love." I read the fortune out loud. I laughed. "What does yours say?" I asked my brother, Ethan.
"To truly find yourself you should play hide and seek alone." Ethan and I laughed.
"Does it really say that?" I asked him.
"Look at it yourself." He said and threw the slip of paper at me. It did.
After we payed and left the restaurant, I had the strangest feeling that my fortune would come true.
