Life with a Condition

"I will not — that kind – person in—. You're – disgrace. I think it better that I — you than — you out. I'm be– merc—ul by —ing  you." Ranted Grunkle Ford.

"Grunkle — him – no- mer–ful. Ju–t let -im go!"  Mabel screamed. "You — already d–ne eno–gh damage. Leave — alone. Look – on the gro—nd bleeding — tha– enough!"

Their voices swim in and out. I've lost a lot of blood from the beating I received after I came out. I think that even if they left me here I would still die of blood loss. I here them leave, and then feel the weight of a duffle bag land on my back, causing me to cough up blood into the freezing snow.

"Get out of here and don't come back, you filthy fag!" Yelled Stan.

My vision swims and I can't focus on anything, nor can I feel anything. I lay in the snow for who knows how long. Until I see a blurry shape in my vision. I may have passed out at one point it's hard to tell. I'm being picked up and carried somewhere. I try to protest and fight back but I'm in no condition to do so. They are saying something I'm not sure what. I think he's carrying me into the woods. I'm not sure. Everything is getting blurry and black is surrounding the edges of my vision. I wonder what that means, I think I read about it but I'm unsure now.

I didn't realize I had blacked out until I woke up. It felt like I had only been out for a second but I knew it was longer than that because I was in a house now and not lying in the cold snow. I try and sit up but as soon as I do I groan in pain, I'm just now registering the fact that every part of my body hurts. I hear footsteps coming closer to the room.

"Hey, deer little Pinetree is awake." I hear someone coo, and I can tell that they are making a pun about my body. I groan in response.

"Everything hurts. Also excuse you I am a Cervidae not a deer, and only part of the time."
"Oh, I know, sapling. Now what happened?"
They inquire. It's hard to tell what gender they are by their voice, especially when I'm in so much pain it's hard to breath.

"Pain medicine?" I gasp out clutching my chest where the pain is only increasing.

"After you answer my question." They retort in a sour tone. Clearly they do not like not being answered.

"Got...kicked out...different...gross...un...nat...ural...and...dis...grace," I gasp for more air every couple of words. Everything keeps getting more painful. "Could...not...bare...sight...me."

Something is injected into my arm and almost immediately the pain goes down into a dull throbbing ache.

"Better?" They move now so that I can see them. When my vision stops swimming with pain I give them a slight nod, and look up at them. They are a male with blonde hair and an eye patch over one eye.

"Who...?" I ask still unable to quite get my mouth working the way I want it to.

"The names Bill Cipher, kid. So you got kicked out because you are sometimes half deer is that right?"

I want to say no, I want to tell him the real reason, even if it's just because I need someone to talk to. Although I don't trust him yet. I don't want to be thrown out in the snow again, so I look down and nod. I was always ashamed of my deer part anyways.

"Don't worry Pinetree you're safe here with me. Remember our deal?"

Deal? What deal? I don't remember making a deal. I shoot him a confused look.

"You were kind of out of it. After you were kicked out you lost a lot of blood. You were gonna die if it weren't for me. So we made a deal. I would save and protect you and in exchange you would devote your life to worshiping me." He says with a giant grin on his face. I nod slowly.
