X. Assignments

"Well oh because in that case I had thought that you can help me in my English assignment."

"And how really do you win that honor of getting help in English assignments from the Skylynn Kaiser?"

He chuckes.

One can fall in love with the sound of that.

"Because the Elvis Regan helped you get your ass out of the party where you injured your foot."

Okay. Yes.

"Thank you again. And you can come over to my place. I can help you. Tutoring my mates comes falls within the spheres of my restricted movement." I smiled and hanged up the call.

The bell had rung and I can't get up. Mom and Greg were at their workplace and Sierra was off to her friend's place for night stay.

I ringed Elvis to tell him that the key was under the pot placed to the left of an idol kept at the door.

"Hey.!" I could hear him downstairs and I told him to climb the stairs up and enter the second door which had a printout that said "IF IT DOESN'T OPEN, ITS NOT YOUR DOOR"

"So is this my door?" Elvis was standing outside my room and I could hear him laughing.

"Come in already Elvis."

"Eager much?" He wriggles his brows mischievously while laughing controllably and shaking his head.

I joined him too.

We spoke a little about my foot and then we did the assignment.

I noticed how serious he became when he studied. He was serious. About studies. He was different from the guy who would flirt like Marco Belinelli or who would walk in with the confidence of Emma Watson. He was as if Stan lee was working on the creation of some new character.

"What are you staring at girl?"

And I realised I was gazing at his face for how long I don't know.

I removed my stare off his face- "I was just wondering how your dynamism changes when you're studying."

He just smiled. A genuine one. That was a first.

I expected him to say something but he didn't.

I just lowered my gaze to his assignment and it was complete.

"So you're welcome?!"

"Yes Ms. Kaiser. You're thank you. How about a treat? I owe you."

"I owed you. Didn't I ?"

"So you really think I would take me helping you as a favour on you? I am not a mean person Kaiser. I am humane. You hurt my feelings." He feigned being hurt.

And we together laughed on his acting skills.

"So what's the treat?"

"Whatever you say."

"In that case, I will use this superpower when I can make the most of it."

"You may."

With that we talked a little more about my foot but none of us took it even a little far to delve into each other's personal lives. We were just two little senior school kids being friends and talking. Keeping aside the fact that one of the friends was the most sought after guy at High valley.

It hadn't been long and he alluded that he should leave.

"You sure you don't need anything?"

"Positive." I spoke with a grin plastered on my face.

"So I believe it's time to go. See you tomorrow at school. Mission wace."
He said winking.

And he left.

"Take care." I heard him calling out from downstairs.

And that's how my dull and unspirited day became better by levels.

But how did he get my number?

Alsoooo..I am sorry for this late update since I so go caught up between my own assignments and I don't have a skylynn kaiser anyways.
