I'm so nervous! Peter is taking me out on my first date ever! I'm so clumsy I know I'm gonna do something stupid. I clutch my phone and sit on the bed. Ever since I got back to normal after the battle of asgaurd, a lot has happened.
-flash back-
Today I get out! I hold my bag and stand outside waiting for someone to pick me up. A sleek black car pulls up. The window rolls down and it's Tony! I walk up to the window.
"What's my AIs name?" I ask. This is the code question we came up with a while back to make sure it's really each other.
"Eva kyle." He responds (Eva this is to you!)
I climb into the passenger seat and
Set my bag on the ground.
"Any reason why Happy didn't pick me up?" I ask staring out the window. I haven't seen anything like this in three months.
"Yes actually. I have a question to ask you." He said still keeping his eyes on the road.
"Ask away." I responded not looking out from the window. I missed the trees.
"Well there is no easy way to ask this is there?" He sighed.
"..." I got a little bit worried.
"So (y/n)... seeing as you don't really have a parent yet... I was considering adopting you as my child, but only if you are okay with it! I know you seem to have a horrible past with adoptive parents and-"
"Yes!" I responded in joy.
"Yes? Really your okay with it?" He asked.
"Yes!" I repeated practically jumping out of my seat.
"Well I'll get pepper to get the documents ready! And then I'll be your dad and you will be my daughter and-and oh my goodness I was so worried you where going to say no!" He said. I smiled at him and anxiously waited to get back to the tower.
-end of flashback-
I hear a knock on the door that pulls me out of my train of thought. I walk over and open the door to see that it's Tony, well dad.
"Hi dad." I greeted.
"Hi (y/n), so I have something to show you. I have been working on this for a while." He said handing me a small necklace. I smiled and put it on.
"Now touch the little flame in the center." He instructed. I pressed it and my suit materialized on me.
"Woah! This is so cool!" I said turning around.
"Good to know you like it. If you press the flame again it will come off." He said. He walked out of the room but poked his head back in.
"If any trouble comes make sure to tell me." He said then walked away. I felt my phone vibrate and looked at it. Peter texted me saying he was here. I walked downstairs. I'm not wearing anything special. Just a hoodie and some jeans. Peter told me we weren't going anywhere fancy so I silently thanked God and dressed comfy. I yelled goodbye as I walked out the door. Peter stood there in jeans and a black shirt. I walked up to him and ruffled his hair.
"So where are we going spidey-boy?" I asked fiddling with the necklace dad gave me.
"That is a surprise." He said with a smirk.
"You're smirking. Now I'm worried." I said sarcastically.
"Maybe you should be." He replied giving me a look.
"I swear to god if you take me to a restaurant and you make them sing me happy birthday, I will freeze you for eternity." I threatened.
"You would miss me too much." He said sticking his tongue out at me. It's my 17th birthday and he insisted on taking me on a date. We walked around until we came to the place we first met.
"Oh my god Peter this is perfect!" I squeaked grabbing his arm and jumping. I pulled him inside. We walked into the room we trained in.
"Remember when you almost burned the place down?" He asked laughing.
"I had had my powers for a good 30 minutes!" I retorted pointing an angry finger at him. He laughed and picked me up, raising me above his head. He spun me around. I laughed and spread my arms out letting my hair blow everywhere. He put me down and we danced to the music in our heads. We stopped out of breath. He picked me up bridal style for no reason.
"Oi! Peter put me down! I can walk!" I yelled squirming. He laughed and continued to carry me despite my best efforts. I sighed and gave up, succumbing to his will. He headed for the door when I stopped him.
"Oh no spidey-boy I can walk in public thank you." I said crawling out of his arms. He put on a fake pout face and crossed his arms. I flicked his forehead.
"Ow! That hurts you know!" Peter yelled.
"Oh wow, you can get punched by villans and still not make a sound, but I flick you and it's painful?" I said scoffing.
"Yes in fact, that hurt very much." He said crossing his arms. I rolled my eyes and followed him out the door. He pulled me to the Chinese restaurant that we went to with the gang. We ate there and he pulled me somewhere else. He put a blindfold on me before we got there. I sighed and let him take me. We stopped and he sat me down. I felt something soft touch my lips. I pressed against his lips passionately. He slid off the blindfold to reveal the stars. We where in the old observatory.
"Peter thank you for making this the perfect birthday." I said laying and looking at the stars.
"Thank you for making this the perfect life."
We layed there for almost an hour before we decided to head back to the tower to make sure dad don't send the army to find me. I leaned on Peters shoulder and yawned. We got to the tower and he took me to the room. I sat on his lap and played on my phone until I dozed off.
Peter POV~♡~
I heard her gently snoring in my arms. I grinned and took a picture.
"Hehe blackmail." I whispered laying her down and tucking her in. I walked out of the room and closed the door. I waved good bye to Mr. Stark and headed home to aunt may.
/-four years later-/
All right Mr. Stark has been preparing me for this day. I'm sweating buckets of sweat. He pats me with a towel and grabs my shoulders.
"She is the girl of your dreams right?" He asked .
"Yes she is." I responded.
"Good because your the guy of hers. No go out there and do it!" He said coaching me. I shoved the little box in my pocket and sat down at the table. Almost everyone was there, even May. We ate in practical silence before Tony spoke up.
"I would like to propose a toast. To my beautiful daughter (y/n). Happy 21 birthday, you can finally join me in my drinking!" He cheered raising the glass.
"Dad, the day I drink with you, is the day that I will most likely have to carry you to the hospital from alcohol poisoning." (Y/n) said lifting her glass of water. Everyone laughed and I let out a nervous chuckle.
"Are you okay Peter? You look a little sick." She whispered to me. She slid my hand under the table and held it. I calmed down quite a bit. We continued to eat with Tony cracking jokes every once in a while. We finished and Tony gave me the signal. I stood up and turned (y/n)s chair twords me. Everyone stared curiously. I lowered myself onto one knee and shaking, I pulled the box out of my pocket. I took a breath.
"(Y/n) around five years ago we where blessed with you're presence in our lives. I was blessed even further. I had the honor of having you as my girlfriend for a long time. In these many months I have realized that you are the person I want to spend every moment with. From now until the very moment I make my final breath." With more confidence I opened the box to reveal the ring. It was a (favorite gem) in the shape of a water droplet. The edges where lined with diamonds.
"(Y/n) will you marry me?" I popped the question. Tears of joy ran down her face.
"Yes!" She yelled with glee. I grabbed her hand and slid the ring on. The tears flowed harder as everyone cheered and clapped. Especially Wanda. I stood up and kissed her. She has made me the happiest man on the earth.
