Sneak attack

Nate was casually reading natepat fanfiction on his phone in his bedroom when he heard a soft scuffle by his bed, then again. He frowned, thinking a moment before popping his head underneath the bed, his fluffy raven locks almost touching the carpet.

Nothing.

Shrugging, he sat up and thought he probably just heard the neighbours until he felt the bed dip behind him. Not only that, but he could hear little giggles and steadied breathing behind him.

"I guess there's nothing underneath the bed! Oh well, better get back to whatever I was doing and turn around to the same position I was in to make me feel much safer and I now know there are no monsters coming to nom me up!" Nate said as calmly as he could, grinning to himself as he heard more muffled laughter behind him.

Then, Matt suddenly jumped on Nate's back and kissed his cheek quickly, hugging his back as the smaller male richly laughed. "Got you!! Got you, Nate!!" He cooed out cutely, his eyes sparkling as Nate pulled Matt into his lap and snuffled close to him.

"Yeah, ya got me, darling!"

"Nuh uhh!!" Matt whined, nuzzling his nose before quickly scurrying off of his lap to stand up wobbly in front of Nate. "You haven't got me!"

Nate rolled his eyes and reached forward to grab the brunette but said man stepped back briskly, sending Nate sprawling on the floor and quite confused. He quickly regained his thought and looked up at his giggling boyfriend with a pretend pout.

"Matthew, pleaaase!" He whined, not bothering to move as if he moved his body, he'd tumble into a mess. The brunette thought a moment and hesitated but eventually helped him up, yet everything was a flash and Matt opened his eyes to see Nate on top of him.

"Now I've caught you!"
