I am a survivor of many a tragedy

One step closer I make to overcome such things

My mind relapses with memories of my first anything that is horror

Real life memories, haunting my nightmares, my dreams, life

I search for movies that make me scared in hopes that it will make me feel normal

That word normal, I tell you, it's like a dream

That fantasy someone told me stories of when I was a child

Why can't you be normal like all the other kids

My mind floats between insane and reality as a constant

I fight for a life I can be content with one day

The life my mother would rise from her grave to say I'm Proud

I've accomplished nothing to be proud of in these years

28 to be exact, taking its toll on my body as it rots day to day

Body riddled with cysts, a forever possibility of cancerous cells

The limbs of this body breaking down, pain constant

At least I can never say that I am alone

I am never lonely here, the voices in my head ensure me of that
