This is certainly something off the wall, after all I am just sitting here on my bed but I feel like this needed to be written. I haven't been alive very long but I've already learned so much about the way of life. It almost seems cruel in the ways it functions, it leaves some people homeless, broken, and or scorched. To me that's a part of life, without that sensation and experience of pain there is no satisfaction of situation, no gratefulness, no beauty in life. Without pain life would be boring. To be in a consistent state of fineness would be the numbing of novocaine.
Yes people hate pain, hate suffering, and can very well hate life because of that but pain brings this comparison. It gives the happiness we strive for, it gives goals, a meaning; and in this seemingly meaningless universe we need pain to drive us forward. I've had my fill of pain, I still reminisce on the scars it left. I don't regret feeling that pain though, I'm thankful for it, those events and adversities show me the shape my life is taking on. It writes a story about myself, the things I've done, the enemies I've faced.
Life can also be magnificent. It houses an infinite plane that we call the universe, it spans from the smallest particles to the broad clusters of entire galaxies. There are worlds beyond imagination, creatures that are lurking millions of light years away. Whether they are single-celled specks or intelligent forms of life. The great largeness that the universe is gives me hope, I wish to see the day our first full fledge interstellar spacecraft finally grasp the cosmos.
Life is amazing in other more relatable ways though. Like the miracle of love, companionship, and compassion. The people you see from day to day life are all a result of a miracle. This boundless universe, this limitless life however cruel it may be gave us this miracle, to live, to feel pain and happiness. That's the amazing, magnificent, and beautiful part of life. That you exist, I exist, everyone exists. I hope this gave you something to think about, maybe gave inspiration. That's all I wanted to say, we are all in the universe together, feeling pain.
