Chapter 15: Why her?

Ian POV

I'm just sitting in the ward for word of what happened to Kalel and how she's dead, but she was acting very weird since the miscarriage but can you blame her she did lose her baby.

"You ok Ian?" Anthony said in a reassuring voice

"You know what Anthony, I don't know anymore." I answered then walked out of the ward to get something to eat.

~About 10 minutes later~

"Ian Hecox?" A friendly nurse asked me

"Yeah?"

"Would you like to see Kalel?"

"Yes please" then I walked into her room

She was lying there, lifeless, pale, but she did just look asleep (that what I just kept telling myself to forget that she wasn't just 'asleep') then Anthony walked in.

"You alright dude?"Anthony asked but this time with just no tone at all.

"I'd be a lot better if I knew what happened!" I said loud but no exactly shouting

"Dude, sh-she overdosed then slit her wrists" he said beginning to cry

"How come you were told but not me?" I asked very confused

"The nurse told me like 5 minutes ago"

"Alright"

~4 days later~

I looked over at her, she looked beautiful sitting there, her hair fell beautifully on her shoulders, her roots were showing but in a nice way, then she stood up to go look at Kalels body
