~•Chapter One•~

~Jades P.O.V~

"JADE WAKE UP!!!" I hear as my cousin barged into my room I cover my face up with a pillow and as I roll over and look at the alarm clock on my side table of my bed.

I had to look again to see if i looked at it correctly 8 in the morning really my cousin didn't have anything else to do at 8 in the morning, Why is she even up this early. I remove the pillow and Sit up, I rub my eyes.

"What?" I say in a raspy voice and stretch

"Maria wanted me to wake you up cause apparently she got a call from the police saying they had some news" my cousin said smiling.

She really seems happy today for waking up at 8 in the morning or she's usually this happy I really don't know cause I am a lazy child and sleep in till like 12 in the afternoon.

"What kind of news?" I say as I get out of bed and find something to wear.

"Not my place to tell, but get ready they are coming in a hour I'll be down stairs helping for breakfast" When she leaves I get my outfit which was a pair of High waisted skinny jeans and a grey nike shirt along with white shoes.

I plop them on my bed and go in the bathroom to take a shower, I take out my bun I had yesterday and brush my hair when I'm done doing that I turn the shower on to the right temperature and then get in.

When I'm done I wrap myself in a towel and go get dressed I put a little makeup on since I had major Bags under my eyes for staying up late. I grab my phone and head downstairs.

When I reach the second step I can already smell the Bacon and Eggs I continue to walk until I reach down starts and Say "Good morning" to my Aunt.

I sit down and scroll through Instagram until my aunt and cousin where ready to eat.

when we where done eating, we sat there talking but stopped when we heard a knock on the door.

"I'll get it" My aunt says as she gets up, me and my cousin sit quietly until She comes back With a police officer.

"May I see Jade Adams please" the officer said politely I sit up and walk over. To where he was standing.

"Y-Yeah?" I say nervously.

I really wanna know what the news was.  I take deep breaths, as I walk with the officer.

"I would like for you to come with me so we can talk privately about something important" The officer said

I followed him to the Back room where no one can hear us.

"As you know we have been investigating to where you're Mother is-" I nod telling him I was listening. "- Well detective Garza has did some more digging and he found you're moms location."

"Wait- I'm sorry but did I just hear you correctly?"

"Well did you hear me say that Detective Garza found you're moms location?" He asks.

I nodd my head. I can't believe what I'm hearing. Is this really true or just a prank? Wait who would do a prank like this? Oh my- I'm speaking nonsense someone help my little mind.

"Well, Thats not all of what we needed to talk about. So don't get to excited just yet." he says eyeing me cause I'm pretty sure it looks like I'm about to burst into outer space.

"What else is there?" I ask confused

"As you see, not only we found you're moms location we also found out she's been looking for you ever since you're father has been arrested." He says

"Really? Why hasn't she been contacting My aunt? She should have done that right?" I say

"Yes, she could have but she lost every trace of contact with you're dads side of the family and half her side." He informs me

"Oh, that makes sense. anything else that I need to know about the case?" There probably a lot of stuff they found. But they probably can't tell me it.

"Yes, We've contacted you're mom and informed her that you've been staying with you're aunt Maria. She was really excited when I told her. After she asked if you wanted to move in with her and her husband Zack Snyder, And their kid Sam." He says

"Wait what! She's married and has a child?? Oh my- I'm gonna have a brother. What if he doesn't like me? Wait how old is this kid Sam?"

"He's 18." The officer says

"Cool, Anyways when do I get to move in with her?" I ask

"Well, We have to tell her you're going to move in. So I've written her phone number down and her work phone just incase you need it. But we've gone over everything we needed to so I'll be leaving now." He says getting up.

I look at the sticky note that has my mother phone number on it, and stick it in my pocket. I wave goodbye to him and walk back to the kitchen.

Once I step in I have My aunt and cousin giving me the 'Tell us everything' look its kinda creepy when you have both of them looking at you at the same time.

"So... We're waiting" My Aunt says

I sighed and walked to where I was sitting and sat down. I explained everything to them and answered their questions.

"Melina Hurry you're butt up or we'll leave without you!" Maria yells at her daughter. While I cover my ears, that lady has some vocals.

After I explained what the officer told me Maria insisted we all go and have girl time. So that's what we currently are doing if Melina hurrys up.

"I'm coming" Melina says while walking out her room.

She's wearing a grey cropped tank top with ripped skinny jeans while wearing her vans.

We all walk outside and go to my Aunts car. "Where are we going first?" I ask while buckling up my seat belt.

"We are going to get our hair done first, then our nails. After that we are going to get Jade a new phone." My aunt says.

I gasp, "I'm getting a phone! Oh my.. Thank you so much!!" I hug her.

She chuckles "Well how else or you gonna contact you're mother? You're welcome too."

After jamming out to music, We finally get to the hair salon. I thought about dying my hair and getting it trimmed.

"Hi welcome to (Hair cut place) I'm Ariel how may I help you?"

"Hi, I have three appointments." Maria says.

"For Maria, Jade and Melina? Correct" The hair stylist asks

"Correct." Maria asks.

"Alright let's have you three come back here. And well get you guys ready" Ariel says while guiding us to our spots.

We waited for a few minutes and two more people came out one girl and one boy came out.

"What would you like to do to you're hair?" The hair stylist James said.

"I'll like a trim and it to be dyed a dark blue." I say

"Okay, Well first would you come over here so I can wash you're hair?" He says

I go to where he told me to go, and sat down. Then he started to wash my hair.

After he was done he brought me back to the hair station and started trimming my hair. After that he dyed it a blue color.

As I was waiting for my aunt and cousin to be done I was looking at the hair products.
