They were devastated, of course they were. They had just come home from a doctor's appointment expecting to get a rather positive news only to get the opposite.
Blake was worried about his wife who has not spoken a single word from the minute they walked out of the doctor's office.
They had been wanting to have a child for a long time now only to be hindered by their busy work schedules. When they finally felt that timing is right, Cristal stepped back from being the COO of their company so she could focus more on finally starting their own family.
"I'm so sorry, love." Blake wrapped an arm around his wife's shoulder, pulling her closer until her head lie on his shoulder. "We're heading home." He addressed their chauffeur, Michael, before planting a short kiss on his wife's head feeling more heartbroken at the sounds of her crying. The words of the doctor echoing in his head.
"I'm so sorry Mr. and Mrs. Carrington, but the pregnancy results came back negative, unfortunately Mrs. Carrington has a condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome."
