He remembers the flickering lights in his once comfy apartment. His parents being with him was once truly a blessing, everything was... complete.

❝They were hiding something...❞

He was just like any other children in the kindergarten, born in a good environment. He made lots of friends as well, no matter their gender.

❝Where is he?❞

"Mommy, where is daddy?" It was a simple question asked by a six-year-old boy, yet, she couldn't answer him with ease.

"Daddy's working, honey. He'll be back soon." There were worries in her piercing-green eyes, sirens getting louder and louder in the background.

Wait....

Sirens?

❝Another lie was told that night.❞

His mother reacted almost immediately, her eyes were drawn towards their apartment door– her once worried expression was replaced by cautiousness and anger. Her wavy long-length brown hair began to flow as if she's underwater.

M/N got to his feet instantly, he didn't know what wasn't happening. Why was his mother so stressed about the sirens?

❝She wasn't who she said she was.❞

She grabbed M/N's hand after a couple of seconds, the little boy glanced over towards the closed window of the apartment, blue and red lights can be seen outside through the translucent curtain.

His mother was entirely focused on the door, as if someone's going to force their way in at any moment. She stood up. Pushed her son behind her protectively.

Wish granted.

The door was kicked down.
