You wake up with your head on Black Rabbit's lap.

Y/N: Ugh...

Black Rabbit: Mind explaining what you did back there? Your gift is crazy.

Y/N: I... Actually have three. A passive one that gives me my strength. My Aura Invocation, and Limit Release. I can only use Limit Release once a day and only for five minutes so I try to save it as a last resort.

Izayoi: Damn. You're pretty talented aren't you?

Asuka: Maybe that will teach you not to run off.

You's cat jumps onto your chest and looks at you. You sense the feline's worry.

Y/N: I'm fine, little one.

You pet the cat and You gasps.

You: Can you speak to animals as well?

Y/N: Not exactly. I can read their auras and understand how they feel.

You: Interesting.

You get up and look around.

Y/N: What did I miss?

Black Rabbit: Kasukabe and Kudou challenged Galdo Gasper to a Gift Game.

Y/N: Who?

Asuka: Some jerk. Don't worry, we'll win.

Black Rabbit: Y/N, please talk them out of this.

Y/N: Why should I?

Black Rabbit: HUH?!

Y/N: I don't choose other people's battles. But I will offer my aid.

Black Rabbit: Izayoi, stop them!

Izayoi: Not my problem.

Y/N: When is it?

You: It's tonight.

Y/N: Then I can't use Limit Release. I already used it today.

You stand up and stretch.

Y/N: Even so, I still won't hold back.

Black Rabbit: Ugh... I'm surrounded by problem children...

That night, you and the girls, go to Galdo Gasper's manor.

Y/N: Alright, let's go.

The three of you enter the manor and it's dark. Not a single person in sight.

You: It's dark in here.

Y/N: I got it.

Your aura glows around you and casts a faint (favorite color) light, allowing the three of you to at least see just in front of you.

Asuka: We should call you the Living Lantern.

Y/N: Just stay close. I'm sensing a powerful and malicious aura...

You lead the girls upstairs and you sense the malevolent aura behind a nearby door.

Y/N: Keep your guard up.

You open the door to see a large tiger eating something, it looks at you with blood dripping from its jaws. It's red eyes pierce the darkness around you.

Y/N: ...run...

You: Wha-

Y/N: I said RUN!

The tiger pounces but you make a wall of aura, blocking the attack.

Y/N: Go! I'll keep it busy!

You: But...

Y/N: Now is seriously not the time for arguments!

The tiger pounces again and cracks the shield.

Y/N: Go!

Asuka grabs You's arm and drags her off.

Y/N: Alright, ugly. Just you and me now.

You put down the shield and jump aside to avoid another attack.

Y/N: Aura Blade!

A sword made of (favorite color) energy solidifies into your hand.

The tiger glares at you as you stand between him and the path to the girls.

Y/N: Bring it!

The beast pounces once again and you block his attack. He goes to tear your arm off but your aura protects you.

He knocks you aside and you slam into a row of knight armor, causing your aura weapon to vanish. Your eyes widen as flashbacks of your childhood flash through your mind. From your parents going missing, to your Sensei taking you in. Asuka and You also flash across your mind and you give a small smile.

Y/N: At least they got away...

Asuka: Heeeyah!

Asuka suddenly runs in with a sword and swipes at the tiger. You also runs in and kicks him in the face.

Y/N: Why did you come back?

Asuka: You really think we'd let you have all the fun? Besides, we picked this fight.

The tiger knocks You into you and you barely catch her.

Y/N: You okay, You?

Meanwhile in You's head.

You's Thoughts: I've never been this close to a boy before!

Back to reality.

You: Y-Yeah.

Asuka finishes off the tiger, who Asuka told you was Galdo, and the three of you leave and you set You on the ground and put your hand on her forehead. Your aura flares to life and any and all wounds she had, vanished.

Y/N: There you go, You.

You: You can call me Kasu.

Y/N: If you say so. You hurt, Asuka?

Asuka: Even if I am what makes you think I'd want you helping me.

You shrug and help Kasu up.

Black Rabbit: You guys won!

You sense another aura. One that has curiosity and loneliness in it.

You look at the sky and you swear you caught a glimpse of some blonde hair.

Y/N: Hm...
